Yeah I just don't see how this will possibly work. He's got ZERO mobility and our OL is a wreck. This could get ugly.

This offense is gonna revert back to the Jimmy G days the next couple weeks. Kyle gonna have to scheme dudes up much more and get the ball out on his first read.
Mac will be tossing some picks because he can't create. Gonna have to run the ball much better and the D will have to create some TOs

I think Mac Jones can be good in this offense with Shanahan. The problem is that he's probably gonna die behind this O-Line. Also the Niners lost the scrambling ability of Purdy. With Mac it's back to "everything has to be good to work" football.

Mac better realize he's playing for a shot at a Geno/Darnold contract next season. He may not be a franchise QB but he can certainly get $30M+ a season for 2-3 years if he looks good enough!
