Yeah, I said it. And I will take the heat for it. We were better defensively with him. He should never have left, but I get why he did. At min, we need to bring him as an advisor to groom him to return to the DC position.

Yes, Bring him as an assistant and promote him to DC next year. Hopefully he won't run to the first bottom feeder organization calling his name this time around.

I don't think Salah would help our defense much. The Niners don't have much real talent anymore outside of Bosa, Warner and Demo. Ward might bounce back, Collins is steady and Greenlaw may return but this is not an immensely talented D. The Trey Lance fiasco and just plain poor drafting has resulted in a talent deficit.

Probably not if we were beating these horrible teams, but we lost to the Cards and the Rams, so anything is on the table now.

You don't just do it for today. My guess is that Saleh would be here for three years or longer. He would have to do so at minimum to rebuild his reputation.
