He's definitely the type of player we need at nose but he's not talented enough ideally to be a starter. He's best suited as a rotational backup.
The fact that he makes such a positive impact to our run D at times just goes to show how bad our strategy of plugging in undersized gap shooters at nose is.

Concussion protection will be an ever-increasing thing around the league. I don't like the look but if it saves a player from future issues, I'm all in on it.

Agree. I'm sure they can find a way to make it look better, yeah, but I am all for the helmets. They'll prob eventually become mandatory.

I think he still needs time to grow into the player he can be, but hopefully he can turn into a star sooner rather than later.
He's got the potential, he was just raw and inconsistent as a prospect.
