This!

He looked really good in the last game.
Rare to see a promising rookie not even make the team the following year. Is he even going to the PS? Must not have put in the work this offseason.

Would have to release one of Chosen, MVS, Gipson, Zakelj, Robinson or Apple to add him.

great news. We need all the talent at this position we can get. He impressed me last season, and the way our team gets injuries, I can see us needing Anderson at some point. glad we didn't lose him.
I missed that bit of good news by MB

They don't need to release any of those, Evan Anderson has 1 accrued year, so he isn't among the 6 vets allowed, also Robinson isn't considered a vet, the 6th spot is Malik Turner's, so they'll have to release one of the 10 non 2+ accrued years, so most likely IMO is William Bradley-King.
I'm glad they brought Anderson back. I would like to see them bring back Cory Kiner too, when he's healthy. I wonder if he's still in their plans after the Robinson signing. Might depend some on how Jordan James plays as well.

Thought you couldn't play in more than 9 games in your one accrued year? Rule get changed?

In order for a player too get an accrued year they have to be on the 53-man roster, or IR or PUP for 6 games/weeks, if the player stays on NFI the entire season he doesn't earn an accrued year since the injury wasn't an NFL injury, basically the player didn't get injured while they were apart of the team and in either a game, or practice, so if player X hurt his ACL in College and he misses all of the season he won't get an accrued year, so for Rourke he'll be a RFA after 2028 if he spends the season on NFI, like how Kalia Davis, who missed his rookie year while on NFI due too his ACL injury at UCF, he'll be a RFA after 2025.

I get all that. Thought Anderson played too much to qualify for standard PS. Thought if you played 9 games in an accrued season you were no longer eligible unless you were among the 6 vets.

Supposedly did come in in much better shape ... but wasn't winning enough in camp to make him critical ... The fact there are 3 other 1/3 tech DTs on the roster isn't helping him either.
