Beating the Packers will be harder than beating the Lions in the NFCC. But the Niners should pull away in the 4th. Would assume a two TD win unless we get some late back door cover shenanigans.
Love can be great and it can also be not close to enough. They're not balanced. The Niners are.
The Niners can match any shootout. The Niners D only needs a couple stops and it will be a wrap.
When Aaron Jones is healthy, he is very good. Tonight he ran for 118 and 3 TDs. He missed 6 games this season and was not fully healthy in a couple of others.
I'm thinking it will be up to the 49ers offense to win a shootout.
Yeah watching this game Jones looks really good. if Connor can run against us like he did, Jones is better and may have a good game.
As I said before Arik being back should help a lot against the run, if he's not too rusty. It may be a shootout as you mentioned.

I believe when we were the number one seed in 1995 we were favored by 12 and Dorsey Levins(?) and Farve kicked our ass. I've seen it all in Niners pain lore. We beat the Cowboys without Young and they won the superbowl.

Vikings - 67 yards, 4.2 ave, season average - 4 ave,
Bears - 75 yards, 3.0 ave. season average - 4.5 ave
Tonight, they gave up 123 yards, 4.0 ave. However, Dak got 45 yards for a 7.5 ave. Pollard got 56 yards on 15 carries for 3.7 ave.
All that to say, don't be fooled by season-long numbers. The Packer run defense has been pretty good the last five games, including tonight.
Doesn't look like a running game on that list could really threaten anyone.

Not winning the SB doesn't mean you choked. Only one team can win it. The Cowboys are an example of choking. A Team that can't even make it to the NFC championship. A Team that is heavy favorites against a team bur get destroyed. The Niners didn't choke last season. They got to the NFC championship and were on the road against the #1 seed and lost their QB early in the game and had no backup. The year before that they got to the NFC championship and were on the road and lost by a FG to a team that was slight favorites. And 2 years before they got to the SB and lost to the best QB in the league. So why do you all of a sudden think they will lose in the divisional RD at home? Under Kyle the Niners have never lost a home playoff game and have never lost in the Wildcard RD or Divisional RD.

Up 10 in the superbowl in the 4th and losing is choking.
Up against the rams in the nfc championship in the 4th quarter and losing is choking.
I don't think they're losing to the packers, but let's not act like Shanahan doesn't choke in big moments.

Yeah but with a different QB they probally don't blow either of those games. And if they had a safety that can catch.

Yes the Cowboys blow but the Packers are legit.
Over the season's final nine games, Love has been the best QB in the league! Love has been off the charts in his last nine games, competing 70.9. percent of his passes for 2,422 yards, 21 touchdowns and just one interception for a 116.6 passer rating.
This game will be like playing ourselves. Lafleur runs a LOT of the same stuff Kyle runs.
He's played a ton of crappy teams in those games too. Like bottom of barrel bad.
Other than the Ravens so have we. Yes they had a weaker schedule than we did but the Cowboys had been playing well. If we bring our A game we should win but this is not an easy game. Arik being back is huge for us.
Love is not who I thought he was. He has a great arm and very accurate. The Cowboys have a lot of all pros on their team who the Packers made them look like a bottom team.
No they haven't, lol.

Yup. He's overrated. Very inconsistent, inaccurate more than you'd like for a starting qb. I'm glad GB will keep him just like I'm so glad the Cowboys will keep Dak or the Seahawks will keep Smith for another year. Just makes it way easier on us

I love how you leave out your favorite QB. I'm surprised you didn't become a raiders fan this season 😂
