Every QB with the same level of experience looks rough when it comes to timing and processing. You cannot deny those passes looked better. Maybe if given time he'll improve the other aspects, like all of his peers who also went through rough patches learning that part of the game.

I can't with you people.

Purdy is the starter, and his four years as a starter in college is a big reason why. You expect Lance to be up to speed on defenses because he improved his release in the off-season. I mean, seriously, you should not have any self-esteem.

Trey Lance in year 3 is 23. The "rookie" O'Connell is 24.

Take a breath man. You'll be ok.

how do you equate a football opinion, from a PS game, with self esteem lol what is going on..

If Yes:

throw that s**t!

If no:

Would at least like to see him rip that first read consistently. It's just going to take playing time, if it's to get better, that he isn't going to get.

This O'Connell kid passes the eye test

Trey Lance does NOT pass the eye test, lol

Trey Lance is as inexperienced as Lawrence last year when he was throwing three and four picks in games. His passing looks better. That's step one. Step two is to learn how to read defenses like a pro, which ALL QBs as inexperienced as he is require time to do.

Except Brock.

Brock had four years of college experience, genius. Also, Brock is not one of his peers from his draft. Lawrence, Jones, Wilson and Fields are his peers.

Nobody reads defenses in college ball.

Those are objective observations. Trey's vision has always been a concern going back to NDSU. I still remember cutting up clips of him looking down a receiver get open and not pulling the trigger or hesitating to kill the play.

This is why preaeason sucks.

No kittle no aiyuk no deebo no cmc no starting oline, and we expect Lance to look good.

He's the third overall pick and he's not a rookie. He should look better than this. He's making himself not look good. Hopefully, he can get it turned around though.

He'll look good when he's playing somewhere else for a coach that cares about his development. Dude is still younger than some of the rookie QBs. He's younger then O'Connell. 😆

KS and JL were all about his development. JL really wants Lance to plan out, he traded 3x1st rounders. Most young QBs would wish to have KS as their coach to scheme wide open targets. This isn't Nolan or Sing lol.

Reporters claimed:

-Lance was much improved and doing better than Sam

-Moody was hardly missing anything

-Kinlaw was finally better

-Mason was catching the ball better

-Womack has been good in coverage all camp

I haven't seen a single thing in this game so far to support any of this. Tf were they watching?
Looking forward to a more in depth analysis which will show that abysmal pass protection can affect a QB, especially one learning on the fly.

Can everyone give up on the Trey Lance experiment now....I think its over.

Standard camp BS.

The radio guy just made good point, if you have time to pump fake....you have time to throw the ball.

Both the radio guy and the NFL Access guy both said Trey is not coming off his primary read.
