I was saying it before the draft; people were sleeping on this kid a bit. I know he was inconsistent with the injuries and stuff; but for me he flashed plenty when on the field. Laid some wood too.

On the All-22; kids read react was pretty impressive and gave some hope. I think he takes the next step this season

I was pulling for him, and Bethune too. They have potential to be good players. So does Martin. It's not like only one of them can play.

I really like the potential of this LB group.

Also, the better they do then Fred can get a little fewer snaps.

I like the potential of this group too. But Fred is not at that point where he comes off the field. Only way I want him getting fewer snaps is because of more three and outs

Nah, every player can get snaps off, and heck when the team is up 20 points might as well give him some snaps off :)

I think he was scared off by Will Levis.

Maybe he ran out of pants
17 rookies coming to camp ... I don't remember that large a number before.

The DL is so SO thin without the rookies.
The idea this team will contend to play the SB in their home stadium is kind of unrealistic. I don't think anyone's really saying that but it's way too lofty an expectation right now. If they did then wonderful. If they start off decent and improve let's enjoy that.

Yeah, it would be nuts if they contend this year. It would also mean a whole bunch of their rookies worked out basically ideally.
