Yup.
The top 3 pressure defenses were the Cowboys (40%), 49ers and Philly (36%). The Cowboys pushed that to 48% against us. The Eagles close much better (70 sacks to our 44) and more collectively (4 dudes with double digit sacks; less lanes to step up through).
No doubt this is going to come down to trench warfare.
41/42 of those Philly sacks came in the first six games I believe - Lions, Vikings, Commanders, Jags, Cards and Dallas.
They're 29 for the last 11 games, it suggests that those Olines were bad or that teams started to figure out their line scheme. Still a very good pass rush but not quite as dominant in the latter part of the season as the overall numbers suggest.
This is the news I needed.
Lions were trash in the first half of the season, commanders were trash, jags were trash in the first half of the season, cards were too because of injuries, cowboys didn't have dak and they sacked the hell out of the backup.
i like that a majority of their sacks came in those situations and not consistently against good teams. That's what bosa has been all season, consistent
