QB Brock Purdy Thread

I think Baker fits with his unload time and he was with Rams they run pretty similar stuff, he has some moxie like Brock, plus we could steal from Rams

Tell me you don't know what stealing is without telling me.

I think it's time we all just come to the realization that this franchise is jinxed. It's the curse of Eddie. Yorks will never win a Superbowl. There's no other explanation.

Rather unfair to call it that. Eddie was a great owner but his downfall was self inflicted. 12 teams have never won a superbowl. How about inventing a mythical curse to cover them. How about Cleveland, Houston, Jacksonville and Detroit. They have never even been to a Super Bowl.

Talking of being jinxed is just silly.

Have you not watched the last 29 years, specifically the last 13?

My point remains. But yes, I have. Have you?

What's new another year of QB uncertainty. It's already cost us 3 to 4 superbowls what's another year.

Remember when KC hired Andy and they didn't land the FQB until Andy's 5th year there (and Pat didn't start until year 6).

I guess Andy preferred Aaron Murray over JG and Derek Carr in 2014. Then he chose Kevin Hogan over Dak Prescott 2 years later.

What does our QB uncertainty have anything to do with Andy Reid?

It's not really jinxed. But there are some good reasons to believe the Yorks probably can't win a Super Bowl. 20+ years and many failures later it's clear they don't have what it takes as owners. To win the Super Bowl at least. They can get you NFC Championship Game losses and Super Bowl losses. But I've never seen any more from them than that.

Yeah we have been a blessed organization over time. But the past 20+ have been hard. Some good teams. Even great teams. That always fall short and can't get over the hump.

Tell us, what are some of those "good reasons?"

Watch the last 20+ years. It speaks for itself. Then look at the 5 Eddie D Super Bowl victories. Kind of says it all.
