I saw an Eagles fan on Pro Football Talk suggest Purdy wasn't injured but just scared of the moment. If I could punch someone over the internet I would have.

That sucks on all levels. I'm no Trey stan, but I still believe in him. I don't have a choice, lol

Almost as sick of hearing this take as I am "Kyle gets his QBs injured." How about the QB develop some awareness? The reason Brady is playing until he's 50 is he knows when he's about to get hit and protects himself. It's great watching Brock stand in the pocket and deliver a pass right before taking a shot, but those shots are legal and any one of them can knock a guy out of the game or even the season. Purdy knew Reddick was coming and tried to get the pass off just before, but mistimed it.

For anyone that hasn't watched this game, there is a high likelihood the QB will get sacked or hit in every game, on every team. At some point the QB needs to protect himself. This happened at the beginning of the game. If he was getting pummeled throughout, maybe you could blame the blockers, but it is impossible to get through a game without the QB getting hit.

Still, out six months means Lance is the starter, more than likely.

What a horrible end to the season. The positives are that he showed great ability without a canon of an arm. So those traits will still be present when he returns. Hopefully his arm strength isn't too impacted in the long term. On a side note, he f**king completed an NFL pass without a ligament in his elbow. That's pretty savage.

Hell yah it was. Dude is legendary as a rookie and has one of his jerseys in the HOF already.

Purdy won't be able to work out, train for 6 months maybe. That's a long time.

Lance can play until Purdy is ready. Unless we plan to move him, he should be expected to win a few games.

I'm betting on Brock being ready week 1.

I swear, Brady can be 80 years old and people will still say go get Brady.
