Mahomes wouldn't have done any better. The 32 year loosers don't prioritize WR or oline talent. Kyle is the wr and the left guard.

Give Mahomes Kittle/CMC and watch him cook. Hell, even Jimmy might have done better. Stop making excuses for BP. His passes were sailing and off target all night. He gets overwhelmed by good defenses. I'm not saying he should've hung 50 points on them, but 3 points is embarrassing.

Mahomes isn't doing s**t with his OL in his lap.

Fans need to realize that having good offensive weapons is great but without a good O line and a defense that can stop the other team from controlling the ball, those weapons are useless. Build a strong foundation before you add the expensive appliances.

It's the one constant about this sport that will never change.

The game is won in the trenches.

We're not great at both. Our offensive line isn't that great at pass blocking and the defensive line struggles with generating pressure.

Some of that is due to injuries and some of it is due to lack of talent, overall skill and coaching (especially in regards to Forester).

It's almost a miracle Purdy only took 3 sacks yesterday.
Our O-Line is not a top 10 O-Line in the league but that's the first time this season, it was this bad specially on the Pass Pro.
Even against the Rams, the O-Line was fine for most of the two games on Pass Pro.
Trent Williams not being there obviously hurt but more than that it was just bad period.
The sack Purdy took in the second quarter I think, I don't know what he could have done better. The right side of the O-Line was just destroyed almost right away after the snap.
Purdy usually doesn't need a wall in front of him. That's actually one of his strenghts, being able to be a good pocket passer even with average O-Line play.
But yesterday, honestly I don't remember our O-Line having been so victimized in a long time.

LOL

If they put in mac he would have gotten killed. Brock was a little high because he had some one in his grill every other play. He was a miracle worker to essentially have zero turnovers and get off some wobblers while getting dragged. He had essentially the same completion % as Darnold under much much heavier pressure.

No way this loss was on Purdy. Mostly on a defense that couldn't get stops. Did you see Lynch when they gave up a 19 yard run on a 3rd and 17? How do you do that? Purdy was as accurate as he could be given the circumstances. The Seahawks just weren't allowing anything downfield. Even the INT wasn't his fault. It was tipped at the line and caused the ball to wobble and go a little off target making it a more difficult catch.

Jimmy G would have gotten beaten a bit then leave the game to do a Subway commercial..cause he needs to be himself.

WHY you all don't see this, it's still an awe to me... it's SHANNY... he is not meant to get a RING here !! all the injuries, the mis-blocked, missed coveraged... drop INTs... the over thrown pass... IT'S A FATE... Shanny ain't the one to get us the NEXT ring !!
The problem yesterday was our OL could not pass defend or open up running lanes. We had no running game, the Seahawks knew that so they ran with the 6 in the box on defense which is what they do because they know their front 4 are going to bring pressure. That meant between pressure and coverage, there just wasn't much there. No, that game isn't on Purdy it is on the TEAM because we had no run game, we had no protection and thus we could not execute the offense as it is designed. And that is just the offense. Defense, our defense made a couple of stops and the offense could not capitalize. Bottom line, I saw one report that this game would come down to space and that is what it was, space. Seattle won the space battle and thus won the game.

SEATTLE WON BECAUSE:

Shanny can not game plan
Lynch can not draft
Shanny clueless what this team needs
Lynch rather exit knowing that he left the team UNDER the salary cap
Shanny thinks he's like he's dad and can plug in any OL he can find in the market
