He is one of the few QBs that was able to beat Seattle this year. The other 2. Tampa and the Rams, have way better WRs. Purdy has struggled against Mike Macdonald though. Which is concerning given they are a division team. But you could say the same thing for Kyle.

Purdy had a bad game and Yes, there are some limitations with Purdy's arm and Seattle exploited it tonight. But he only got 32 yards on the ground from his RBs. Offensive line gave up a lot of pressure and his receivers failed to get separation. He was driving for a TD and the ball hit his players hands for an INT. Hardly a super star performance only held back by the QB. We stunk as an entire unit on offense tonight, against a really good defense.

Every QB struggles when the pass blocking is ass. The emphasis should be to get him as much pass blocking as is feasible. The Saints put a giant wall in front of Drew Brees to give him time to operate.

You give Purdy time and he'll usually find the open target but they also do need more speed at receiver overall.

We seem to struggle against really talented sound units that can play really good lock-down man coverage. Granted not a lot of teams have the ability to cover our team in man. Our RBs and TEs generally destroy their LBS. That's why the Pearsall loss was so big, and before when Aiyuk would miss games for us. These guys had the speed/ route running and could beat man coverage on the outside.

And…..he turned into a pumpkin like I said. So much for the offense hitting its stride. Honestly, this team has way over achieved given all of the injuries and BP's regression. Niners had no business making the playoffs, and will likely be bounced in the first round. Could've used a higher draft position, but chances are Lynch would've blown the pick. Oh well.

LOL.

I don't think that would have helped this game. I feel it was the scheme this game is what did Brock in. If we had a different gameplan, maybe he could have showed his talent. That is why sometimes I say I'm curious how Brock would look with a different coordinator or offense.

I think Brock was just late getting to the passes underneath. When he did hit them early, or in stride, they were getting like 7-8 yards. But coming back to the underneath stuff after waiting/hoping the middle defenders would open up the digs might have been a mistake. We'll see what's on the game tape soon.

Also our screen passes weren't smooth. I think there was one to Kittle and it just seemed off and we didn't get as much yards as we should have. The other one to WR Robinson should have been a bigger play if he were faster.

They were all over CMC and we need to respect that. Calling a regular screen to him, their talented safety was all over him for like 6 yard loss. We should call screens to other running backs or find different ways to run screen plays to CMC.. like we have earlier this season.

Wait wait wait... Let me get this straight... You don't want to invest in giving him people to throw to, you don't want to invest in giving him any RB that can do better than 3.6 ypc... And you don't want to invest in giving him protection...

Yet it's BPs fault he can't cook with no ingredients to cook with and no tools...

I watched every single down of this offense specifically watching Purdy execute. He missed the most basic throws to extend drives. Flat out missed. And when he did connect the ball was placed so poor that it didn't allow the receiver time to catch, recover and make a move to gain yardage.

this little pos stole 250M from the Niners and put up 3 points in a playoff game.

I despise that mental midget

Get help lol

He made some mistakes but the o line was crud...and the SEA D just played better. We all watched the same game btw lol

Ppl just glance over the fact we didn't have Trent Williams ---kinda big if playing for 1st seed against a top D.

Brock worths the 3 years/100M contract that Darnold and Mayfield got.

Brock is a much better QB than Darnold and it showed last night. Darnold didn't make a single big time throw and was coddled by his own coordinator and our defense still made it easy for him and bailed him out a bunch of times.

Purdy had a MUCH tougher ask yesterday and made a lot more plays with little help. I don't remember a single throw that was easy where the protection was good and receivers were wide open.

Seattle has made a lot of guys look bad with a healthy defense which they had last night. Our offense missing Trent and Pearsall with no Aiyuk all year is a really tough ask with no running game on top of it.

When I heard Pearsall was inactive I had a really bad feeling about the game.

Will have to check the tape but odds are Kittle wasn't featured more cuz we needed him to help in protection and outside of George, Pearsall is our best guy at getting separation.

VS a defense so good if you can't get clean separation it will be death by a thousand cuts. And that's what we had out there.

I would like a rematch only because it means we're at least playing in the divisional round but if we go in without Pearsall and Trent again we'll likely be handed another L unless the lucky bounces go our way.

Then again last night could've also easily been a 28-3 type of blowout.

But yeah not having that WR who can separate vs that level of defense you just make it that much tougher on everyone including the QB.

Also felt like Seattle didn't miss a single tackle on defense. It was crazy. Hard to go into next matchup if we get one and expect to get them on big YAC plays. Gotta try to go beyond the sticks.

Keep hearing this about Darrnold, but they had no reason to allow him to open it up when we couldn't stop the run. Shanny would have done the exact same thing.

Same, I just kinda knew..and thought, well I will just try and enjoy watching a football game..but lol. But not having Trent or Ricky? And the vibe just felt off. I think our D showed up and got some experience in.

Please draft Brock a number 1 WR or pick one up in the offseason. Maybe Justin Jefferson if he's available.
