If it saves a pick 6, lol…

5D chess.

You beat me to it!

Touché! Yeah that would mean that a lot of bad things are happening.

Brock has been the same dude every year he's been in the league. His interception percentage in 2022, 2023, and 2024 is basically the same (2.4, 2.5, and 2.6). The only thing that has really changed is the team around him and the fact that he's dealing with turf toe this year. Maybe his drop in numbers should also be expected since we lost Aiyuk. I'm sure Darnold's numbers would go down if they lost JSN.

It's funny, I pointed out his love of YOLO throws in 2022 and said I thought he was only around a top 12-15 QB in the league in 2022-2023 and got called a hater. Now if I say I think he's a top 12-15 QB, I'll get called a homer.

It might also be relevant to point out that Jimmy was playing the best football of his career post-CMC trade until his injury against the Dolphins.

One of the key things to do is separate team influenced statistics and how the QB is actually playing the position :)

Easier said than done. I don't think Brock was all that different from 2022-2024. This year, I think he is for obvious toe related reasons.

I'm hearing a whole of "ifs" today while watching the evaluations of Brock.. If he had thrown the ball sooner. If he had a stronger arm…yadda yadda yadda.

Wait, what? He was a lighting the world on fire when he first started until the NFCCG and a frontrunner for MVP in 23. You really think last year he was just as good?

I do. I think the team around him was a lot worse. I feel like the tendencies, strengths, and flaws to his game were basically the same across his first three seasons.

Watching the Manning cast during the first int and Jerry Rice was in he stated "that Brock had a tendency to relax and that the pass should be on a line".
This is what I've been saying

Kurt Warner weighs in. Clearly the one intended for Pearsall was the worst because it seemed like he could have just run for a first down. However, that being said, Brock does have a tendency to go for the big play, which is part of his game, plus we don't know what the real situation is with is toe. So that might have been a factor in his decision.

Lol looking at ints in a vacuum "the anticipation is gone!" even though there are many other players where the anticipation is there.

But, talking heads get paid to talk so it is what it is

Rewatching the game now and there could have been at least one or two more picks.

I think he nailed it. Need more urgency to his passes.
