Lol. Two things can be true!

You clearly don't remember the playoff game vs the Packers. Offense was completely non functional.

I'm with ya, more of what he did on the first drive last night. Stop forcing s**t.

Stop being late with it too. More running if things aren't there.

Yeah, he was a handsome fella. Also an absolute clown show of a QB who never took accountability for his mistakes.

Sorry… Lombardi charts told me he was* one of the best in the league. Better than Aaron Rodgers even.

Sorry bro gonna have to disagree about that. It's reached Jimmy and Alex level excuses man

Comically absurd take. Cmon now.

Is it really? I'm obviously not talking about just one game (yesterday's). Pretty much all of last year (interceptions) and this year was full of excuses. And it's always everyone else or something other than the QBs fault; in that regard it absolutely is just like how it was with Jimmy and Alex. "No one is making excuses" is a comically absurd take lol

The Alex Smith and Jimmy threads were full of excuse making. Even if I was to concede and say that there are a handful of posters making excuses for Brock after yesterday, it was no where close to what was happening for years in those threads. Honestly, not even close (and I rarely say "not even close"). I think most people will agree.

Well Purdy hasn't been here or played as many games as those two yet. I was in those threads arguing; you know that lol. Anyways we can just agree to disagree on this one; if you really think that no one is making excuses then either you or I has a reading comprehension problem..or both

When I said "no one" I was obviously incorrect, as there were a small handful of people defending him last night. An overwhelming majority of people were and are not.

"No one is ____" is an expression meaning very, very few.

Oh sorry you meant crow hop, not crop hop. I know what a crow hop is. A crow hop ISNT throwing off of one foot, but yeah he did not set his feet on that throw. I see what you mean.

I know you arent just hating. I know what hating style posting is, and I have never accused you of that.

Yeah crow hop, running throwing the ball whatever you know what I mean lol. It's not a great way to throw an accurate ball 30 yards downfield. it was basically a 50/50 ball and imo there was saver options there when they were in scoring position.

I have to reinforce the fact that I don't hate Brock or want him to fail….people love tossing that as their rebuttal when they got nothing else to say. It's quite annoying

Yeah man I'm so glad I don't need to hear my QB say "we" for everything anymore.

Now that I'm thinking about it; I take it back SWH, this thread and the excuses made is no where close to how it was with Jimmy or Alex; WTF was I thinking. I hope it never gets there because Brock makes it so excuses doesn't need to be made for interceptions

I'd be shocked if anyone ever defends Brock running out the back of an endzone. Nor should they.

If it saves a pick 6, lol…

5D chess.

If it ever gets to the Alex Smith or Jimmy excuse level in here, you can bet your ass I will have flipped on Brock and be on the side wanting a new QB hahaha.

It's sad that our fanbase would give jonnydel s**t, of all people, just for the sin of not jumping on the Brock sucks now and forever train.

He did the same thing with Jimmy G when he was here…defended him until he wasn't here. We all know he wasn't the dude, yet folks wouldn't face the reality of it, because of fandom.

I don't think anyone is saying Brock blows…he is playing inconsistent and has been for over a year.

Brock has been the same dude every year he's been in the league. His interception percentage in 2022, 2023, and 2024 is basically the same (2.4, 2.5, and 2.6). The only thing that has really changed is the team around him and the fact that he's dealing with turf toe this year. Maybe his drop in numbers should also be expected since we lost Aiyuk. I'm sure Darnold's numbers would go down if they lost JSN.

It's funny, I pointed out his love of YOLO throws in 2022 and said I thought he was only around a top 12-15 QB in the league in 2022-2023 and got called a hater. Now if I say I think he's a top 12-15 QB, I'll get called a homer.

It might also be relevant to point out that Jimmy was playing the best football of his career post-CMC trade until his injury against the Dolphins.
