Banks was not good. You and faithful bringing up the money he got doesn't change that fact. Maybe he was hurt and will be good for Green Bay, I don't care. He was not good here and that's the conversation I care about.

I never hated on McGlinchey as others have. He was a dominant run blocker and he was ok as a pass blocker. His issue was the bad beats that would stick in everyones memory.

However there is also a reason the team didn't bring these guys back.

s**tty players don't get paid $77M. Banks was a fine LG.

I loved Banks, but dude was just injured all the time. Still wish they kept him.

I wanted to keep Jaylon Moore for a reason but he wasn't going to start over Trent or Colton. Our issue last year was LG and C. LG is being replaced. C is what worries me the most...along with OT AFTER this season.

LG was such a "problem" that he left and got $77M lol…this is no different than people crying about McG for yrs, only to watch him get paid $85M and be part of one of the best OLs in football currently.

you don't NEED great or even really good IOL to be a good offense. You don't need amazing lineman across the board to have a good offense.

I think a better C last year would have helped out the LG.
I don't think an upgrade at LG would have done much to help out Brendel.

A better C really would help this whole unit.

Kyle and Brock love him scary as that is.

Well yes. Better players are helpful. But top 5 centers make about $12M per year. If there were some astronomical rise in that help that a top guy like that would come in and usher, they'd have traded the farm for him.

This time of year always drags. Especially after OTAs. Lol I can't wait for camp to get going so we can debate over every play about how it is going to destroy or save the world.
Lol if you have to think about if you would take Goof over Purdy or not lol, I mean. Most talk shows are lame cause it's more about hearing themselves talk then real analysis and watching the games. Only guy who he is sure that he would pick over Purdy is Lawrence..well duh. That's a give in, dude sucks. Then it's a whole bunch of I don't know. Lol. These ppl get paid for this? Haha

hmmmm....Neither of these players are Top 3. But I woudnt say they "suck" either. That's a little extreme.

Well what dude? Lol just saying fax and I guess I am "propping up Purdy". Lol..you really dnt seem to like how some of us really like Purdy but weren't you a huge Trey homer or was it Jimmy?
I've never used other players incessantly to prop up any 49er player. That's what a homer is, I take it? I just don't see what doing that page after page brings to the discussion table when it comes to a certain player.

I don't think whether I like or dislike a player is a factor. That's how other posters go. I'm more of a "substance" reader. I don't really care about sides. Brock has got his bag now. I don't think the wild exaggerations are necessary anymore.

Keshawn is correct. Not sure what the other guy is saying. It's dumb.
I guess this is Brocks sports psychologist. Interesting
That's interesting stuff, I'm not surprised he bought into it. I bet a lot wouldn't, he's clearly just willing to explore whatever it takes to improve. Such a great trait, I feel we're in safe hands
I'm not saying he'll end up as great as Steph curry, just saying that Steph is into that stuff too. Specifically controlling his breathing and all that regarding heart rate etc. he's talked about it
