I'm sure if we didn't have that stat there would would be some uproar.

but the real problem is a lot of peeps saying we're so far away, too many holes, too old.. when actually we're not

get those starters back, add a couple pieces and the points will be scored..

27th in yards per point. 3rd worst season with Shanahan in this category.

I'm not putting that on Purdy alone obviously, but that's not good.

Yards per point?
What is the value in that, TOP? The team was down 30 seconds per game from 2023.

ahhh....2023.

I wouldn't say a lot of peeps, it's a minority that is just very loud so it makes it seem like more.

Most of us realize we still have a lot of talent and last season wasn't an indication of talent on the field.

We had a solid draft last year, if we can have another solid draft this year, we'll be set up for success again for another 4-5 years.

The value is in understanding that yards don't mean much if you aren't converting yardage into points, and we were one of the least efficient offenses in the league in this regard last season.

CMC, BA and Trent were useless. Deebo was average.

Ok, I'm sure injuries were obviously one of many factors. My point was the fact we were high in yardage doesn't say a whole lot. Our offense wasn't very good, this isn't controversial.

Points were way down, I think that was his point.

I misunderstood your point initially.

13th in points isn't great.

With the easier schedule and rest we can absolutely get back to another Superbowl next year. Trouble is, as much as I think he's the best thing we've had in a long time, he's not a superstar. In a league that favors offense and stars get the calls do you think the NFL gives BP the calls of Mahomes or Allen? Nope, he's not a face of the league and even if a team is great (Philly this year) you rarely see non face QBs win in an entertainment league.

To be clear I think you have to sign him, there is simply no better option but you should constantly be looking for someone to take his place while he's making that money and not a NFL face.

Know what makes a QB an NFL face? Winning…

Purdy's story is incredibly compelling. Just because the NFL push him as a Superman type QB angle doesn't mean there isn't plenty to sell.

The Eagles just won the Super Bowl with Jalen Hurts at QB. I think if we build a team around Brock we can do the same
It's not uncommon to see QBs from losing tems with a lot of passing yards. The reason is they're often behind late in games and they get alot of garbage yards trying yo catch up when the other team goes into a prevent shell. Just one more reason I don't put a lot of stock in yards.
