I'm not sure when it airs, or if it just becomes available to stream at some point?
Gotta say watching this so far has made me buy a old school Notre Dame hat. Don't know why I think they look so clean lol.

Young's "peak" level of play, degraded team or not, was phenomenal.

Disparaging 1 QB with fairytales doesn't somehow make the other QB that much better or anything. Not sure why people always feel the need to rewrite history doing such.

Hes old enough to have watched it all go down, so he should know better. He has a weird hatred for Young
i saw us blow the lead to dallas in 1973 . the 1976 team was the best team that never went to a super bowl aside from the 98 team and 2011 team

You have a weird way of typing 1987 but ok.

no.. i meant 1976. few niner fans will remember the name willie mcgee

I tried upgrading to premium so I could watch in advance but for some reason it wasn't letting me do it. That's okay. I'll wait. I know most of the rest of the things since it's about Joe with the Niners. I saw every home game in person and all the rest on TV. Still it will be nice to see some of the old games and hear from players.

a pure sensation in 76, was unreal leading us to 6-1, then got hurt, teams could double and triple gene. no offense to dick witcher... had he not got hurt.. we would have rode the gold rush and the run game with delvin and wilbur .. and plunket making no mistakes with weapons like willie gene and kwalik... but not meant to be. ended 8-6 and monte quit

I was a young guy at the game with my dad the day Willie McGee broke his leg on the concrete-like artificial turf of Candlestick Park. Before he went down the Niners were carving up all of the competition. They had McGee and Gene Washington at receiver, Delvin Williams, arguably the best RB in the league, the best pass rush in the league, and Jim Plunkett at QB. It was a very good team. I think the injury to McGee had to have been one of the drivers behind switching to a natural surface a few years later.

i like young very much. he is the second best qb in our teams history.... i just think at the time.. we would have been better off doing that trade and keeping joe. the mvp stuff was nice but then we gauged our qb by winning the big games.. when he pissed two in a row down his leg and proved jimmy johnson right when he said young could not win the big game. i was fine dumping him,. and i was not alone either. now. i like young.. and the team did him a huge disservice by ignoring the run game after ricky left. it was a disgrace to us and to young that for three years he was our best running back until we finally got terry kirby here to stabilize things a bit.

Reading this paragraph gives me a headache for some reason.
