This year we have 4. Don't we normally have 2 to 3 times that number? Is this an indication that the undrafted prefer to go elsewhere with a less veteran roster?

There aren't many UDFA that can compete for a spot on this team. This roster is loaded.

when we start to make some cuts.... i am still hoping we can snare a tight end or d line guy... i think i am facing the current group of wide outs are who we will roll with this off season

When your entire roster needs to be turned over like when Lynch and Shanahan first got here, you sugn a ton of UDFA. As the roster improves you look for quality, not quantity.

They actually have by my count 9 CBs, 10 if you include Mayden, who I think can play both FS & CB, and I have 8 Safeties with Mayden in there. They just cut CB Adonis Alexander.
