What exactly is "he's not there yet"?
I hate to break it to you Trey haters. Yes . . . "he's not there " is just a synonym for "Trey hate". Trey is here . . .there . . . he's every freakin' where.
The other guy is not "there" either. Hasn't been for all of the eight, or whatever number of years, he's been in the league. Why is the organization holding up the development of their future for some mirage?
The Niners are not Super Bowl contenders. Never were this season. And for sure never with the other guy steering the ship. Not to mention, he's a divisive presence in the locker room.. I've been an advocate for getting rid of him before the season started. He's eating up too much cap space. Of course some here feel that's not important..
I hope that Trey blows up against Arizona and disappoints all you haters. And if he doesn't . . . so what? As long as it doesn't kill him, it'll only make him better.
I hope that Shanahan has the balls to turn the page. Although the way that he's handled almost everything this season, it makes me wonder.

No it isn't. I'm considered a "Jimmy hater" around these parts and I say Trey isn't there yet. Because there is elite qb status, and here is raw rookie status.

Maybe not, but there's plenty who think and have expressly said he's a bust.

I'm just getting to the end of the first 24 hours of food poisoning. I read your post and thought it said raw cookie status. Made me gag.

If only there could be some consensus on exactly what "there" includes.
e.g.,...Jimmy is an 8 year vet. Has he ever been "there" himself?

They're just a little bitter from the inevitable transition. They'll open up to the idea once Trey has a solid game.

Really looking forward to see what Lance can do tomorrow. Too bad no Kittle, but he hasn't had reps with Lance yet. Hoping for 4 receivers sets and Mitchell putting a burst into the Rb group.
