I have a question for those who want to return back to Vic Fangio defense, why?

How is this Vic's fault? IMO Whitner cost us the SB IIRC

the whole team wasn't ready to play the SB until mid way to the 3rd quarter. Pinning the loss on Whitner isn't realistic.

He gave up 2 big plays. Including like a 40 yard wounded duck to Boldin that took light years to come down

What a silly question. We had a top ten defense his entire tenure including his final season when Bowman/Willis and A.Smith were non factors.

Well if you count raping someone like R.McDonald as burning out or being 36 and an interior Dlineman like Justin Smith as burning out or even becoming a rampant alcoholic on your off time like Aldon Smith as burning out then yeah sure blame him.
