There's nothing to make out if that year. 20 guys on IR, players who would sell car insurances or play in the CFL if they weren't niners are playing. No atmosphere coming across and that season had an asterisk on it from the get go. Franchises cannot play forever in front of no fans. So, it's just a waste of money. Let's make it clear. They try really hard to ball out and I am really proud of them and the way they face and fight adversity but there's no point in it. Still watching every game like I always did in the last 20 years and cheering my ass off but I can manage my expectations.

I'd just place Fred Warner on season ending IR and fake an injury. The rest of the players don't even matter that much. With all these backups, they're losing the rest of the way anyway

You don't throw games. You just don't risk your key players. Put Deebo,Ayiuk, Kittle, Reed, Sherman, Warner, McG, Williams, Juice and others on IR and leave them their to make a solid run next year.

We do that and he'll never resign with this team. Players don't sacrifice to be on a team that tanks and wastes their opportunity.

Honestly, we aren't that many players away from being injured to begin with.

He's having an All-Pro season no way he sits.

I'm kind of worried about him getting injured by going 120% on a wasted season. Then again part of the reason he's an All-Pro is his passion for the game.
