To be fair, the 49ers had buckner but he cost too much and Ward deserved that contract after he balled out in 2019.

That's very true - we're also vulnerable in the secondary without a pass rush. Got a feeling the defense is going to have a long day.

Doesnt Goff do better on the move in roll outs/bootlegs?

From my observation that's been the MO of McVay as of late.....get Goff out of the pocket.....roll out / bootlegs....easy throws...allows him to stay upright. Makes getting to the QB difficult.

We aren't gonna get to the QB anyway whether he's rolling out,rolling in it,rolling a joint,rolling dice,rolling quarters, rolling sushi, rolling out of bed. (Yw to add any I forgot)

Bosa fell to us because of Murray and we sucked. Sherman is old.

I can't think of a great free agent pickup by lynch now that I think of it...

As long as he gets pass protection we should be fine.
