1. AZ - W. Set the tone for the season, at home.
2. @ NYJ - W. The front Bosa, Kinlaw, AA, and Ford are gonna have a field day
3. @ NYG - W. Traveling from Chicago, but the 49ers will be better rested as they won't be traveling at all.
4. PHI (SNF) - W. The Eagle will get thoroughly exposed in this game.
5. MIA - W. Not taking them for granted, but they pose no real threat, and we treat them like it.
6. LA RAMS (SNF) - W. Racks of lamb is on the menu for the from 4.
7. @ NE - W. Even with the travel their defense will be on the field quite a bit.
8. @ SEA - L. Almost a "scheduled loss". Now the coast-to-coast traveling will take it's toll: MIA >> LA >> NE >> SEA
9. GB (TNF) - W. But it'll be close. We'll still be feeling the effects of the travel but we have this team's number.
10. @ NO - L. They get their revenge. They will be motivated.
*** Much needed BYE ***
12. @ LA RAMS - W. Really no chance coming off a bye, and a loss
13. BUF (MNF) - W. And it could get ugly. They pretty tired from the travel from the previous 3 weeks: AZ > @ HM > SF
14. WAS - W. And they likely won't have the weather to equalize things this time. And Shanny is motivated
15. DAL (SNF) - W. Dak deserves his money. But he's Dak, and this will be the true 1st time he's seen this front 4.
16. @ AZ - W. Won't miss an opportunity to knot out a divisional opponent.
17. SEA - W/L. Really depends on the standings of other contenders. If we have the #1 seed clinched already I predict a loss as I cannot imagine Shanny even dressing any starters (unless the Seaducks NEED this game to make the PO). If we have our destiny in our own hands for the #1 seed it's all hands on deck, and I predict a win.

14 - 2 or 13 - 3

This season we're gonna set our mark for years to come. My expectations are slightly higher than last season. If we're not hit too hard on injuries I cannot see loosing more than 3 games. We play two of the weakest divisions in football - the AFC & NFC East. Without TB12 NE will be an 8-8, 7-9 team. Philly really is over hyped. The Cowgirls are a mystery at this point wit Mike McCarthy as HC. We don't even play TB. The only threats on our schedule I see are Seattle, NO, and GB (maybe Dallas). I'm sorry, but I just don't see any other team beating the 49ers. I'm predicting an offensive explosion along with a still dominant defense. Jimmy G. is getting significantly more weapons. The league will have to contend with Deebo, Aiyuk, Kittle, and McKinnon all on the field at once! Look for Jimmy G. to have a career season. No way will teams be able to defend that. And while Buckner is gone I don't expect a net loss in production on defense. We still have our entire defense returning otherwise. While Kinlaw won't be Defo he'll still demand a double team.

I see another trip to the SB. And with a largely young, but now PO experienced team we bring home our 6th Lombardi this time.

With how quiet Levi's is at times, no fans shouldn't really be an issue for niner home games lol

except, that wasn't the case at all last season in particular. lol.

It was loud on occasion and certainly in the playoffs. Let's not act like it's some daunting place for road teams to play lol

except again, literally no one has said that. doesn't mean Levi's didn't become a true home-field advantage last season.living in 2014 still lol

Your statement is a bit contradictory . First you say no one ever said it was a tough place for road teams to play. Then in the next sentence you say doesn't mean Levi's didn't become a true home field advantage last season lol

Levi's was never quiet last season lol. so your initial joke was contradictory in itself. that's the entire and only point im making

lol

Impressive back peddling lol

Impressive reading comprehension

lol

Clearly I've touched a nerve with you. Didn't realize how heavily invested you were in Levi's as a home field advantage m. You are right, it's one of the biggest home field advantages in football...,...,,,,lol

You've really turned into an expert at putting words in people's mouths. let me start over and be clear: for years, (2014-really until we started winning) Levi's was never a true home-field advantage. it wasn't until last season, it became a true home field advantage for our team. never had been that loud before. your initial post was lightly downplaying it based off history ignoring recent history jokingly. which is fine. the tables have turned, though. if this upcoming season is anything like the last in terms of crowd noise, it will continue to be a true home field advantage for us but naturally because of the pandemic that will most likely not be the case/matter just for this season.

You will never find Levi's on the list of most daunting or loudest places to places to play, and that is not just factoring in the past. That is just factoring in it's not nearly as loud as other stadiums where teams can point to it and say "that's a tough place to play". Whether it be the layout with the open air design or the fact the sun hits one side directly forcing people out of their seats or so on and so on. It's nothing personal, it's just a fact. And that was my point. It may have been louder last season, but outside of the playoffs it was nothing game changing. And that is why I dont feel, comparative to other teams, that it's a huge impact to the niners .

I went to every home game last year and the Seattle home game was extremely loud. For me, it was the loudest game of the season at home including the playoffs. Even though we just barely lost, the noise was just as loud as any game I've been to at the Stick.

Though nothing compared to the Saints game last year. Loudest sporting event I've ever been too. It is just a shocking level of noise in that stadium. They do however have all the video boards constantly telling the crowd to get loud and showing the DB meter. They do a good job at getting the crowd into a frenzy.

It's definitely improved, I will not deny that.
I think the loudest loudest game I've ever been to, in general, was 94' and it was Deion's first home game against the saints. He intercepted Jim Everett and took it back 74 yards fir a TD yo seal the win. I remember Rice was running off the sideline down the field with him lol. It was absolutely deafening

For sure. however in my opinion i think it's improved enough to the point where it does give the team a slight edge or advantage, whereas that wasn't the case in the past. But again, I'm not comparing to the likes of KC, NO, or Seattle. those will ALWAYS be considered "daunting" or tough places to play. our homefield has definitely risen to another level just for us in particular, though. and who knows, if it keeps up the way it did last year for years to come, maybe our house will one day be anointed as a "tough place to play" but in reality, it doesn't truly matter. as long as we win every game lol idc

Can't disagree with this

10-6? Seriously? Where are the 6 losses coming from?

From losing 6 games out of the 16 they play?

I like 10-6 / 11-5. Injuries are going to happen and general fatigue from a longer season playing in the super bowl. The defense will regress as well. I hope I am wrong tho!

I don't gamble.

Seriously though, looking at the schedule, what 6 games do you see us loosing?
12-4 seems reasonable. Not going to be like Chiefs fans who think their team will go 16-0 and blow everybody out. They went into an uproar when some writer dared to predict they would lose a game to the Raiders. Never seen such an arrogant fanbase.

I feel like predicting 10-6/11-5 and using the "injuries/fatigue" happen reason is a cop out in a way.

Which games do you see them losing?

I realize these games happen. Atlanta last year is a perfect example of it but on paper...which games are you actually pegging a loss?

Injuries and fatigue wouldn't be something only us experience.

On paper the only teams that make me nervous are the Saints and Cowboys because both are road games and they're two teams who have a high powered offense and defenses that have talent that could potentially put it together.

Eagles, Pats and Bills are other teams that worry me for different reasons but I also like our situations facing those teams other than NE since they play us on the east coast off a bye week...but I don't trust their offense and think they lost some key pieces on D so that nullifies that's. Eagles and Bills are home games for us.

Even the Saints game while tough cuz it's on the road we get them after a mini bye after playing Packers at home on TNF. They'll be coming off a key divisional game vs Tampa Bay.

I don't see us going 16-0 but I feel like people are giving too much love to Arizona and Seattle(who if they don't bring back Clowney definitely got worse imo)

Yes things change year to year so who knows what will happen but predicting 10-6 just cuz s**t happens seems silly. Why bother making the prediction?

The Rams will be coming off a short week from playing Tampa Bay on the ROAD for MNF in week 11.

Did Ryan Clark do any research because it looks like he didn't.

We don't even necessarily know how training camp will go, much less the settings even of said games. Mental fatigue haunts alot of "almost there" teams,...and not many have 13-3 records year after year.

Everyone wants to go 16-0,...but what you want and predictions are two separate domains that some fans struggle to differentiate.

Personally,...an 11-5 is a record I'd take this year into the playoffs with no qualms.
