Love to have him back but how does he fit in with Evans? It would be like a 2 tight end set. On the other hand reducing snaps for evans could be beneficial at this stage of his career. So it might work out at the right price.

+2. Some how, some way, hope he returns. He's had some ups and downs here - A LOT more ups, though. Not afraid to mix it up and help set the tone on offense. He's proven to be clutch time and time again ("Third-and-Jauan"). He was on target to possibly be the SB MVP if the Niners could have pulled that last one out. One of the best #3 WRs in football.

I think you're right. All of these tweets and stories about JJ going here or there appears to be false. There's no interest at the price JJ may want.
