AB, any news on the contract breakdown? With 55 mil guaranteed, it sounds like we have an out after 3 years.
Nothing yet, my best guess for 2021 is the minimum base of $1.075M, $250K per game RB, plus the $6.02M prorated bonus, the per game RB gets prorated, so only 14 will count, so he'd have a $7.3M cap number in 2021 if I'm correct, I'd expect 2022 to be around $15M, it'll likely be BIG in 2024-2026, they said it was heavily backloaded, well the one who broke it, Russini on Twitter.

Good god, I can't stand Matt Miller, I saw him on NFL Live on ESPN last week, I just want to punch him in his face, complete joke IMO.
As for anyone saying the cap is a myth, BS, teams know how to manipulate it, it's not fake, not a myth, just easy to create cap room.
Jason I think the distinction is between the cap rules itself and teams using as a reason why they can't acquire x player.
Agreed with that, it's not fake or a myth, just gets me mad when people say it is, it's just easy to manipulate the cap. No teams should ever make the cap the issue with not keeping or signing guys, especially once the TV deals kick in around 2023, I can see the cap within 10yrs to be $300M+ a yr.
