Not me personally, but that was said I believe during the previous regime and it made it sound like its true especially when other teams crazy spending during FA period. But we know the team is willing to spend and that championships aren't won in the offseason.

Now that our QB has a better chance of throwing while standing up, let's find another monster DL, some CB's who can at least stay within a step, another LB to compliment Warner and Greenlaw, and a K/PR with some speed who can sub in as a receiver. I may be missing something else important needed on the field but, there is the draft and UDFA's where the FO seems to do very well

The idea of Jed / the Yorks being cheap comes from John York's first few years owning the team. He tried to run it like a corporation and it led to dumb things like not having the small amenities for staff/players in the day-to-day locker room. Thing is, it lasted a few years and he learned better, and it's now been many, many years longer of no such thing. Hard to overcome a first impression, though, even after 20 years.

There was another tweet by Miller worse than that. The guy was basically saying that Trent Williams was a fool for wanting to stay in San Fran when he could have played with Mahomes and the Chiefs.
God forbid someone to be faithful and to like working for a certain coach with the niners.
Matt Miller has become worse than Cohn.

If no QB I'd still take Slater if available. Can play G and give us options if Glinch doesn't figure out his pass protect.

With trent signed, there's less need for Slater (I would love to have him though) but center has to be the next priority, at least for me it is.
The need is there. Bring in Slater and we will have some real pass pro + no drop off in run blocking.
