Sounds like the 9ers are sticking to their guns.

Would be a shame to lose him over 2mil
Is sit in making the flight today?

Meet in the middle, go $28m and be done. It would be a shame to lose him over a couple M. Just a guess.

Is BA going to be on the flight to TN today?

I don't think he's playing for us again. At some point they are going to trade him. do we really think we are going to get full effort out of him if he doesn't get a new deal and if forced to play on his current deal?

Competitive people don't have an off button. Aiyuk seems like a highly competitive person

They do when there money isn't correct. I have a hard time believing him or anybody would be giving full effort to an employer that you feel has wronged and disrespected you. Not saying he's going to out there walking routes and missing blocks on purpose, but I don't think his heart will be fully in it.

I don't think he would even play. There would be a "nagging injury" that would keep him out al year.

Don't agree with this at all. He'll be interviewing with 31 other companies every week so can't really compare this to another employee situation.

He'd look like an ever bigger idiot than he already is and would absolutely kill any hope to get paid what he feels he deserves in the future.

It took him this long to move to SF? And he chose when his contract was coming to an end?

Could be part of the reason his feels are so hurt. May have been overconfident about resigning.

Probably why the Niners are playing hardball. They know he doesn't actually want to leave.

BA is panicing. Trying to tug a heartstrings publicly
Most players accept trades and contract issues as part of the game. For some reason WRs have trouble accepting this.

Is that BA's hiccup? Or is it the guaranteed money?
