Brandon Aiyuk: 2,589
Deebo Samuel: 2,428
Touchdown catches since 2020.
Brandon Aiyuk: 18
Deebo Samuel: 9
That's really interesting. I didn't know that, receiving wise.
when you factor in rushing though:
Deebo since 2020:
Rushing yards: 623
Rushing touchdowns: 11
bringing Deebos total contribution since 2020 to:
Total yards: 3,051
Total touchdowns: 20
It's like we have 2 really good football players and should be grateful rather than trying to take shots at the guy who used the only leverage a player has to get a contract he desired. Can't wait for this forum to turn on Aiyuk when he uses the exact same playbook
Yeah, idk why some have turned into "one or the other". I love both and think they're great compliments to each other and bring a unique dynamic to our offense. Aiyuk had two rushing touch downs in 2020. So they're actually tied 20 TDs apiece since 2020
Aiyuk can run the ball well too when given the opportunity, at least he did that awesome play against the eagles a couple years ago.
i think it's also important to note that deebo has missed more time than Aiyuk. Deebo has missed 12 games since 2020 and Aiyuk has missed 4. So when you look at their game averages, deebo is much higher.
i hope we keep both for at least the next 3-5 years. I think having CMC adds longevity to guys like kittle & deebo cause we don't have to rely on them as much.
