Kyle could get him there if he wanted to. Pierre Garcon led the league in receptions under Kyle's Washington offense.

any idea what deebo means by these comments specifically?

is he referring to his explosion? or is he just inconsistent with lining up

pretty sure he means like his first step at the snap of the ball

it is this pretty much. Deebo is talking about that first move right after the snap. If you watch Aiyuk his one weakness, that you can spot at times, is that guys get a hand on him right off the snap. If he loses on a route it happens at the line of scrimmage, because he is already a monster if he has space. This isn't what I would call a big deal, it is just a matter of finding how you win. Some guys win with speed and shiftiness, some win with hand fighting and power. Brandon just needs to settle into his style at the NFL level. He has all the tools, I don't doubt he will get there sooner rather than later.

Yup, he was slow off the ball in college too. It looked strange, sort of like he winds up his arms first and then moves his feet instead of one fluid motion. Should be an easy fix, Aiyuk is a freaking stud man

I hate drafting in the city of SF sometimes lol. One year someone took Jimmy G in like the 3rd round

4th round probably the latest I'll be able to grab Aiyuk

That sucks. Maybe join a random yahoo league for s**ts and giggles

This is where I luck out. I'm commish for my department at work but our main office is right near Patriots home field. Somebody probably going to grab Bourne before Aiyuk off the board lol.

Let's hope so! I hope we all can get him in the 50s-60's range

When Aiyuk said he models his game after Davante, I couldn't stop seeing it. I think Brett is right.

I think he will be a top 10 wr next year. Not quite a pro bowler but has all the talent and tools to be one. What will limit his stats will be the other weapons but more importantly, we run a lot more than ever other team not named Baltimore or Tennessee.
I was mocked for saying that Aiyuk was a lot better player than Ruggs before the draft. It was obvious to me that even though Ruggs had a lot of speed, he wasn't on the same planet as Aiyuk after the catch.

Just because a player has speed doesn't mean they are a good runner. Marquise Goodwin for example.

I'm still really happy we got Aiyuk over Ruggs and Mims who people wanted.

To me Ruggs seems like a 1 trick pony. He's a burner who will catch those 30+ yard passes but he doesn't seem like a guy who will constantly get those over the middle and sideline10-15 yard catches. He's a guy who will have games where he gets 3 or 4 catches for 115 yards and some games with no catches or 1 catch for 30 yards. You won't see many games where he gets something like 8 catches for 95 yards. Waller is their go to receiver in that offense.

I'm very happy we passed on both Ruggs & Jeudy, I like Kinlaw, and I love Aiyuk, we got him later than he would go if you did a re-draft. Just like Kittle & Warner would be 1st rd picks in a 2017 & 2018 re-draft.

I still say he is more like John Taylor than anyone else. This guy is about to be a superstar.

He has everything necessary to be considered the best WR in the NFL. If he stays healthy he will be considered one of the best WRs to play for the Niners. There is very little he cannot do.
