He has to petition the NFL to get approval to be reinstated but he hasn't yet not saying it's tough but he just hasn't done it yet and until he does and he shows up the 49ers aren't obligated to release him

He has to clear his warrant first I would imagine before reinstatement. Another thing to keep an eye on is his agent situation BA says he's filed the paperwork but multiple reports say Ryan Williams is still listed as his agent in the NFLPA database. BA has to take care of that too before filing for reinstatement

I mean yeah he needs to clear that up and the longer he wait the worse it's gonna get for him

I believe the NFL has to reinstate him and he would need to pass a physical, but I'm not 100% certain on the how it goes, but if he were to be reinstated he'd be cut or take up a roster spot and I'm not sure they would want to have him taking up a roster spot when he's not gonna be at TC and I honest wouldn't be shocked if he just doesn't try to get reinstated for a while and just edges them on to try and get them to cut him

I also think he'd try to get reinstated by September 1st when his option bonus is due so try and force them to cut him

Dude said he might not be here the day of a Super Bowl loss while his teammates were in the locker room hurting after another hose job by the refs. Dude said all summer that he was gonna look out for himself only and that it was time to be selfish

Dude got paid hella money but came into the season unprepared to earn it and then as a result got hurt which led to his deal ultimately being a very expensive mistake for us

Then to top it all off he left the squad. Everything about BA post Super Bowl loss has been hell for this franchise and hindsight 20/20 we'd have traded him during the NFL draft the same
offseason we lost that Super Bowl but it's all water under the bridge now

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if BA tried to show up unannounced at the Commanders training camp first. If there was a prop bet for it I'd place $5.

I'm curious about The conduct detrimental to team list which BA could definitely end up on after being reinstated. Does that list prevent him from being paid or could 49ers fine him into Stone Age and prevent cutting him till after week 6?
