Another thing to keep an eye on is his agent situation BA says he's filed the paperwork but multiple reports say Ryan Williams is still listed as his agent in the NFLPA database. BA has to take care of that too before filing for reinstatement

im sorry but this is a warning sign not a one off. When signing players its just as important to sign a good person as it is a good player. Seems like every decision he is making is just the wrong one.

His choice of words is crazy to me. From saying Shanahan is a toddler to mentioning how Lynch showing up at his house "isn't safe"

I am curious how his wife feels about this. We've had some negative things said about her after her post SB comments but I wonder how she's feeling about the situation now. Not just the financial aspect of it, if I were here I'd be seriously concerned about her husband and father of her child.

I don't wish Aiyuk well as a player but i honestly am concerned about him as a person/father/husband.

Reinstatement has to be agreed by both parties first

hence, he has to go to HQ

The league will not make it easy for Aiyuk to circumvent the system in place preventing players of choosing where they want to play.

Would Aiyuk even need to wait for training camp to report/start reinstatement process? Couldn't he show up at niners HQ tomorrow or Monday to start the reinstatement process?

To me, this isn't the right question because it ignores any understanding Aiyuk might have about when the 49ers would release him.

Why would the 49ers release him if he reported tomorrow? He's not owed any money, and they aren't practicing.

We speculated that even showing up and getting reinstated in July at training camp wouldn't necessarily force the 49ers hand. They could simply put him on a side field and pay him no more than whatever 'per diem' stipend players get, and his 100k workout bonus (if even that).

Aiyuk has motivation to show up for TC in July because he will be fined for each day missed starting at that point. Until then there really doesn't seem to be any motivation considering the 49ers would only release him if they were tired of the story. Outside of that consideration, they will not release him until he's due real money.

He doesn't need to wait.

he needs to show up so he can start his reinstatement process. Once reinstated he would be cut.

Now that he's wilding out, the 9ers could possibly not agree to reinstate or slap him with the detrimental side of things.

But I think they would just reinstate him then cut him

He sounds completely nuts. I don't know how they didn't pick up on it. This could end like Aldon Smith someday.

Do I believe John Lynch showed up to Aiyuk's place uninvited? Yes..

Do I believe Kyle is a hot head, that makes emotional decisions at the wrong times? Yes (pulling your starting CB in the playoffs, just to yell at him....and his replacement gives up a nail in the coffin TD soon after)

Do I believe Aiyuk could have got what he wanted (release) without showing his ass on social media? Yes, by quickly hiring a different agent/lawyer/rep, after getting rid of the one he didn't trust anymore... and just letting them do their work behind the scenes, while staying out of the spot light.
