I cannot imagine Commander's ownership, Peters, and Quinn even being remotely interested in this guy at this point.

He really should not even have a press pass. The NFL has to have some set standards of integrity in order to get press credentialing

They did screw up it appears. Would've been better off NOT extending him and either finding the right trade OR allowing him to sit out until week 9 then playing out his deal into free agency UNLESS we decided to tag him and trade him during the following NFL draft

I know many said F him , let him walk etc, but I recall at that time he was our best WR and we really thought we had a chance at a SB run again with that roster. With all that in mind, nobody could have guessed THIS was the result. Dude has lost the plot. I doubt he ever plays again. Sadly, I fear we will only hear worse and worse stories about him down the line.

John Lynch is a football player and as a Hall of Famer himself he wanted to talk ball as you said man to man and appeal to him on that level for the good of the 53 men in that locker room. BA coming off a tough contract negotiation and rehab just lost his sh** and Lynch was trying to salvage things because it was just that important to him. BA knows damn well that Lynch is no creeper or trying to do any harm to him or his wife. It's not just a matter of delaying his dead cap charges (which I honestly thought would be in the 49ers interest to clear sooner rather than later), but the 49ers have actual cash reasons to test out how serious Aiyuk is in saying he'll wait.

Yea. I am a bit worried as a man because now I have taken off my Niner fan hat for a bit. As a business as you have said, the Niners should just stand pat and help out their books after a bad deal in 2024. That said I sure hope BA is watched closely by his family and honestly for the good of himself and fellow mankind I hope he has some sort of crisis intervention real soon. I was all for being a bit petty but now I am over that and I just want BA to find help. And I also feel bad for John Lynch that BA smeared him in such a ridiculous manner. To be accused of being a threat to BA's wife and family one can only imagine. That sh** ain't cool and personally I am infuriated for John Lynch

Aiyuk may truly be putting his sense of pride over money and his career here, but if he's not this is a pretty bad bluff or a deep misunderstanding of his contract and the CBA. Banking on the 49ers to not be willing to recoup up to over $10m of his prorated bonus money over the next few years because of noise he's making.

Yeah, this young man is having a mental break. And the people close to him have a duty to push him to seek professional help.

He can go play catch with that Texas Tech QB Sorensby or whatever the heck his name is!!!

This looks like the end for BA he said himself he won't step foot into the building ever again unless it's to "put the belt to us on oct 19th". Sounds like he'll be kept on the left squad list indefinitely. Let's say he misses this entire year how does that affect our cap going forward into the next offseason?
