It's more about the whole season.... the belt is basically, "I'm gonna ball out this season and you can't stop it." Now if everything goes right for him, it is very much possible... but this is football, anything can happen.

I can see that but I wouldn't put it past him if he means the ladder, in the context he's speaking it sounds like he's trying to punish us. Idk how him having a good season is punishing no one's going to miss him… I guess if he suddenly becomes Justin Jefferson you'd have some fans crying

Again I hope folks understand his issue isn't with his defense/teammates... or the fans (well not counting the POSs who celebrated his injury on his socials)

His issue is with the front office..... so yeah in his mind, if he balls out this season....all the media pushed narrative about him not knowing what he was doing...will be put into questuon....He'll get his say before the season starts.. be it podcast, or ESPN, Fox, Prime, NFL feature interview.

Not exactly sure what broke the camels back, losing the Super Bowl being wide open, Kyle, or front office. I also remember him dropping multiple passes after his hold out missing camp, one of them was on a crucial 3rd down and the entire stadium started booing him I think he does have some resentment towards us fans even outside of social media

Almost like he controlled all the negatives himself...

This is why I have no sympathy towards the guy as a player. I don't wish him ill as a person but you will never catch me rooting for him again and he was one of my favorite players and a guy I desperately wanted us to extend and not trade.

This guy has controlled every bit of negative fallout himself.

I could understand if he was furious for the SB going down the way it did where really if he was featured we likely win that game. I can see him being upset with Kyle for not force feeding him like some other teams do to their WR1.

That would totally make sense IF he didn't sign the extension with us. You want to play for Washington? Play out your contract and sign with them or get them to trade for you. You hate the 49ers/Kyle bad enough for what happened then don't sign the massive extension and let them trade you to the team you wanted.

Are we forgetting the guy was on social media just a few weeks ago saying the 49ers were shtoopid for basically gifting him $50 million for nothing? Is he going to give that money back?

$50 million for 25 catches on 47 targets(just above 50% catch rate easily the worst of his career) 374 yards and 0 TDs.

Made the whole negotiation a "look at me" and then sat on the contract that he ended up signing for weeks if not months. Then came back and put up those numbers. And he's shocked fans weren't thrilled for him as he's dropping key passes after calling himself a Lambo? Dude was playing like a Ford Pinto, let alone a Toyota Carrolla.

All he had to do was check in during rehab. Couldn't be bothered to do that. Once again it doesn't mean 49ers aren't without fault here but I'm certainly not going to have any poor Brandon thoughts as he's stealing from this team and acting like a child on social media.

How is this guy going to act when it comes time to negotiate with the Commanders for a new deal? He's out there acting like one of their cheerleaders and we've seen how pissy this kid gets during contract talks.

If Washington wanted him so bad, they would have made a trade for him and they would take on his contract like they did Deebo last year. I don't think B.A realizes this LOL.

I bet we would have accepted a 7th rounder for B.A, and Washington still didn't make the trade.

Wash is not trading because there is some level of tampering going on..

I'm curious if any guys on the roster stay in touch with this dude. I know Ricky knew him from back in ASU days and he feels like the type of guy to stay in touch regardless of all the other stuff but can't imagine many on the team were thrilled with what he pulled last year while they were playing hurt, missing key guys and needed him in a big way and he ghosted everyone.

Still don't expect George or any of our other players to trash someone they shared a locker room with regardless of how they feel about him but it's stupid these guys keep asking them about him anyways.

Exactly my sentiment. I mean it's really common sense for most of us. Dude was paid so he should have played.

This is exactly why I'd keep him on the reserve / left squad list until he developed the balls to come on down to 49ers HQ and face the cops the front office and his hardworking teammates in order to gain reinstatement

You answered your own question. He ghosted ALL of them but that's fine we got Mike Evans for less money

From what we know (which isn't everything) he more or less ghosted all of his teammates to some degree. Maybe he has been in contact with some and we aren't aware.

Regardless of that, I think you can read the tea leaves on kitties last comment. He's more plugged in to what happened than journalists or Internet football fans

As far as that respones, yes that's George... he will rib you, like he has many of his past teammates.

There were little things along the way.. but he took that Super Bowl loss hard... and it had him questioning things, so much so it thinking bad intentions by the Kyle and the front office...

Regading the Super Bowl... all season he was getting a certian amount of passes thrown his way, and the team usually won. But in the Super Bowl, he didn't get the same amount of passes... and he kind of alluded to that reasons maybe having to do with contract negotiations leverage. That's not the first time we have seen Head Coaches make weird decsions, EVEN at the Super Bowl, for personal or front office reasons. Hell look at Cheatin Pete and Russell Wilson, wanting him to win that Super Bowl with a pass...when they have o'l reliable Marshawn Lynch (who they were ready to move on from, happened one season after).. and they ended up losing that Super Bowl.

So what ever the reason.. he took away from it that pay was part of the reason he didn't get the amount of involvement... the highest paid players were the ones who the team relied on, so he felt he needed to be one of those top paid players on the team IF he was going to be taken serious in the offense....especially in those critical games.

Once again the SB issues go out the window as soon as he signs an extension. I'm honestly not sure what you're defending here.

He got 6 targets in the game. That's just about his year average at 6.5 targets per game.

Like I said, I can understand the frustration. I think we should've featured him more or at least cut down Deebo's targets considering he wasn't healthy and couldn't beat man coverage to save his life.

Contract negotiations are tough. You never get a player going to a team with a salary demand and they instantly say "sounds good, just sign here" unless that player is looking to take a serious team discount or undervaluing himself in a big way. In that very podcast you posted Aiyuk was doing the complete opposite. Saying he's basically a lambo and the 49ers can't have him unless they pay up.

Everyone can feel what they want to feel but to take Aiyuk's side here you have to be good with him being a mentally weak individual or a crook. Because those to me seem like the only two options available as to why he signed that deal and then pulled what he pulled.

Either his feelings got so bent out of shape about the reports AFTER he signed the deal that he was willing to say F them to that degree or he signed it knowing he was going to basically bail on them and pull something like this.

To me I feel like his injury put him in a really dark place and he spiraled from there and now he's gone too far and doesn't want to deal with the consequences including having to face the teammates he screwed over.

Once again...this guy is basically a Washington Commanders' cheerleader right now. What happens if they're mean to him during contract talks? You think their media will coddle him whenever he gets a chance to speak to them? Will they make him upset so he blows off that team too? Or is everyone simply hanging onto the fact that their QB is his bestie and he'll be on his best behavior?

Oh I agree, George is as good a teammate as you'll find. And I know he likes to joke around but it sure seems like there is some animosity there. Not sure teammates are on board with being ghosted.

What does George have to be upset about...playing injured while being easily top 3 by all accounts at his position and still not making as much as Aiyuk got.

I believe I touched on it earlier this year or maybe last year....

An example. I feel everyone pressured Aiyuk and the Front Office to be together... like how some force an engaged couple to still marry, when they are on the verge of a breakup.

What usually people do is pressure a couple to stay together, then when it happens they feel they have done their job and move on thinking everything is all good... when in fact the relationship is not totally healed, and there are cracks...and if not followed up on and trust shown is not consistent, then the breakup will still happen or a continued toxic relationship until a break up or something worse.

So with our situation, a lot of stuff happened... but they resolved it to get a contract done. From that point, someone should have made sure trust was consistent between the two.... imo the 9ers FO budged first with the unnecessary media leaks (Paraag) while Aiyuk was trying to recover from his injury/in a dark place.... and trust was once again broken... what happened after, we have to see what Aiyuk eventually says... what happened regarding the rehab work? Or heck even the story of the money being taken was kept secret by Aiyuk and the Coaches/FO.... and Aiyuk was working out at the facilities (Kittle mentioned this)... he said he would check on Aiyuk every chance he got.... then after that media leak about the contract money being held being leaked to the media (for God knows what reason, was it right before we our seaon started to turn around?)... then Aiyuk once again lost trust, and just stopped showing up to the facilities (I believe that is what Kittle said about when Aiyuk stopped being there)...

That's why I say FROM THE TEAM'S END, there were unnecessary decisions (imo by Paraag) being made that negatively effected the relationship. So much so, that Aiyuk wanted off no matter what. Even if he lost money. They were so unnecessary, that you wonder if they were done on purpose to trigger this outcome.

Again, this outcome benefits both Aiyuk and Paraag... Aiyuk got good money and gets to go to a new team of his choice. Paraag gets out of the contract he never wanted to do. Now does it benefit the offense/team?... we'll see. I like that Mike Evans fell onto our lap....and I like our rookie WR... but no Aiyuk and Jauan seems weird, hopefully our new look offense jells..Purdy to Pearsal should be fine, until the other WRs get some chemistry, worse case scenario. I'm not expecting much from Kirk.
