if anything, it would be a nice contract with stipulations that protect the team....which I'm sure Aiyuk would gladly sign...

I don't think teams care about his various social media antics. They care a bit more about going AWOL but even that isn't major (guys have been signed after doing that)

The biggest issue is his knee & that's he's 1.5 years since playing in the NFL. If I had to guess, he'd AT BEST get something similar to Jennings at $8m but incentive based and not guaranteed.

He is 28 coming off about as bad a knee injury as you can get. It's extremely unlikely he's ever move the way he did in the past. It would be a shocking development if Aiyuk ever got even a mid tier deal the remainder of his career but I guess we'll see
I am curious as to how he will react when every DC rotates coverage to him and Daniel's throws to the superior receiver in McClaurin. Once again Aiyuk goes back to being a glorified 2 and throws a fit? It will be a fun soap opera to watch and not have to deal with. Warner always knew Aiyuk was soft and tried toughening him up with big brother hazing in camps.

Why would they roll coverage to him if McClaurin is the better receiver?

Cause Daniel's will 100% be forcing the ball to Aiyuk.

The Commanders would LOVE this! The fact that Aiyuk would have this kind of an impact on the offense.

2023 will be his best season as an NFL player. He'll never be a 1000 yard receiver again. I believed this during his contract dispute. And this was before he tore every CL in his knee and didnt play football for nearly 2 full seasons.

He can sign a one week contract with each and every team we play against next year and I still won't be worried. 2023 was a textbook contract season. He played out of his mind bc he wanted money and everything he's done since then has done nothing but confirm that.

he had 1342 yards with only 75 receptions.... lol.. he'll get his 1000 again...

dang folks this is what I'm talking about.. yall swear he ain't a great WR....smh. We just have to see how his mind and body responds, when there is live fire going on. That all being said, he has put his body in the best case scenario by not forcing himself back for this front office (or heck like it has been mentioned, maybe they blocked him )

but either way his body would be fully healed.

We don't have to wait to see how his mind and body responds. He is no longer a 49er!! He's a quitter!
Dont give two turds what he does from here on.

49ers before Players!!!

Aiyuk is a real person, not a computer sim.

the thinking he will just be back to normal getting his 1k or anything like 2 years and a tire up knee never happened is unrealistic.

it may take him two seasons before he shows his normal self, which teams may not want to wait for.

we may be over explaining here, it's not that complicated, he got his bag, and he's a made man that means he doesn't have to listen to anybody, and the reality is that's very human if 50m was dropped on any of us, we'd be out of there so fast the chair would be spinning,, there would be no 2 week notice, just let them see the empty desk and hear the tires patching out and they can figure it out. it's called quitting, he quit, check the thread title, that's all you need to read

"he quit"... yall can view it that way.

or it can be viewed he didn't want to deal with the BS of this front office, and he found a loophole to get paid 50mill for only 7 games, and he gets to pick his next team for a new contract...be it 8mill...10mill.... then in 2027 if he plays like how he has played in the past.. will get a yuge contract.

It's such BS that they're asking him to come rehab at the facility. How dare they. Every other team in the NFL let's players rehab however they want to.

yes, like the 9ers "let" Bosa do his in Florida... and they "let" CMC travel up to Germany for his treatment.

oh hey there's Grant Cohn lol.

BA WAS doing his rehab outside of the facility….no different than Bosa/CMC etc. the difference is when it was TIME for him to rehab in SF like all the others have done. He refused. You can get treatment wherever the f**k you want as long as it's approved by the team. It's not different than a player not using a team approved surgeon to do a ACL injury.

The team is paying you a f**k ton of money to play a game. Go do your s**t when you're suppose to.

the major instigator in all this f**kery is BA, trying to twist it any other way is ridiculous
BA had a nice year leading into his contract year but he was the fourth option in a Kyle Shanahan offense with CMC offensive player of the year best TE in the game Kittle and prime Deebo Samuel. BA is good but he will need help

No no, you're on here beating your chest for Aiyuk on getting his production and yuge contracts.. don't hide behind a little disclaimer. Stand by your animosity towards others who don't feel the same as you do
