Even with a fully healthy Niners squad I still believe they lose to Seattle. Not as bad as they did, sure. But they were still going home.

blame bad drafting and signings

Agree, Seattle got better as the season went on. We would have probably still lost if healthy, just not by a blowout. I detest them but their defense is elite, especially that front four.

thats BS lol

If we had everyone from Week 1 at Week 17, we win the #1 seed easily and raise banner # 6

Lol surreeee.
sure..? stop acting like we had 6-11 year lol

If we had all our horses we would have been in the SB, and won it.

The massive glaring difference between Seattle and the Niners is that their talent isn't concentrated in a few players. Their talent is spread out across many players deep and can easily withstand an injury or two while the 49ers can't. For example, Bosa goes down, and the entire pass rush is gone with him; conversely, if Demarcus Lawrence or Leonard Williams goes down, Seattle is still terrorizing QBs because their pass rush is 5-players deep.

unfortunately, this is what happens when a team has failed to draft impact players for many drafts now.

The funny thing is Seattle's best pass rushers weren't even drafted by them. Williams/Nwosu/Lawerence.

imo Murphy is their best defensive player. He makes it all go. I was so pissed when they drafted him. He fell right into their laps. Same with JSN.

"Losing to the Seahawks in a more competitive game" = acting like we had a 6-11 year
yeah, you are pretty much saying we had no chance as if we were some scrub 6-11 team

With a fully healthy 2025 season.. week 17 doesn't even matter

When did I say "no chance"?

What I don't get is when both teams were healthy we won…everyone in here says well Seattle got better as the season went on, why couldn't SF have gotten better as the season went on with a fully healthly roster?

Before the season began, the 49ers were a strong favorite to go to the Super Bowl.

We were tied for 5th in the NFC with the Rams. Multiway tie for 8th including the AFC.

True, but Derick Hall and Boye Mafe are significantly better than any pass rusher that ShanaLynch regime has ever drafted not including Nick Bosa. Those guys aren't world beaters either, but that's how bad the 49ers have been at drafting pass rushers. Seattle's DL rotation was very deep this year. This is the optimal situation when you can ride it all the way to the SB, but as you stated, eventually everyone needs to get paid and the ride ends.

But yeah, their IDL plays is extremely good led by Murphy and Williams. It's not a shocker, but it always seems like the SB winners have big-time interior pressure. The 49ers need to get that asap.

same here.. 12-5 and not even close to being full strength all season.. but somehow we have no chance when we have already beaten LA and seattle. lol

I'm assuming Williams is gonna want part of that Super Bowl tax. Last yr of his deal, not sure how much GTD cash he's got.

Murphy is a dog and I hate it lol.

I agree SF hasn't really drafted many great pass rushers. I was very confused given the talent in the past draft….that they really didn't even try to bring in more seasoned pass rushers via the draft.

I mean we all know Williams is a bit raw there, got the makeup and drive but still a projection. Collins imo made no sense for me. Dude offered nothing as a pass rusher in college. West is a day 3 NT that is good at stuff the run.

I get having to stop the run first, I felt there was enough out there for them to upgrade at both areas
