Sanders went up against the Chiefs while still with the Broncos and had 5 receptions. Ford came from KC. How much insight will have over the next two weeks?

I see us going to Deebo, Mostert/Breida/Coleman and Sanders first over Kittle. Just because KC will put their best cover guy, Mathieu on Kittle.
If we can force KC to run their base defense against our base offense and not be able to use Mathiue as a slot S in a big Nickel, we'll have a huge advantage in the passing game. They love to take away your best threat over the middle with Mathiue, but when they're in base, they often keep him and Sorenson back in a 2 deep shell because their LB's are liabilities in coverage.

I think that was a brilliant Kyle coaching move to hide everything and just run the ball after we got control of the game. Now they have to devote a ton of time scheming against the run, and less time on the pass, where- as you said - that's where Kyle will burn them.

If they fall behind, it will be another Marino '84 situation where our pass rush will begin to shut them down in the second half.

The game plan against both MIN and GB was to come out and throw it to open up the run game in the first 2 possessions. I see something similar. KC is going to come out in man-coverage early, so I expect some nice rub routes, heavy Deebo/Sanders and maybe even getting Juice on a wheel route.

Against Min in the first series they went heavy to stack the box, i think Jimmy threw on most of those plays until we scored. After that Min went to their regular defense and we gashed them over and over.

Against the Packers they never switched until late in the game, then Jimmy audibled to Kittle for his only catch of the game. Jimmy can make the switch which is great.

Well, we did have 3 passes I think on one drive where we hit Deebo twice and then a screen to mostert that set up the first TD. That drive alone and the explosiveness of Deebo in the pass game made GB respect the pass on all our runs for the next 2 quarters.

We literally won our first SB immediately after the Raiders final game in Oakland, and then won our 5th in January of 95 right before the Raiders moved back that September. When the Raiders are gone the win rings.

IKR. Warner was a baby lost on coverage. No pass rush with poor coverage . We were relying on the fastest WR in the NFL that can't run routes or catch.

Also had Foster making dumb penalties.

My only wish from rewatching is that we don't have to wear the same uniform combo. We need all whites !
