I rewatched the game, Niners beat two teams out there, refs and Seattle.
I officiate high school football, I constantly assess my philosophy and judgement vs these NFL officials.

I watch as a bias Niner homer so I always complain if we're losing. But what things did you specifically see?

Refs called illegal motion on Sanders although he made the same act later on a few times which was not called.

Seattle's last drive on one of the final plays, armstead is bear hugged by Fluker. Something so ingredious needs to be called, last minute or not. I'm glad Warner was not called for a PI since holding was not called.

Also on Brunskill's personal foul, Niners final drive.
Brunskill makes the block prior to the whistle blowing..
I rewinded the play to hear when the whistle was blown. This dead ball foul call took a 3rd and 2 to 3rd and 16.
Don't over officiate in this scenario.

There were plenty of bad calls on both ends. We just got the benefit this time.

3rd quarter 5:46 to go, Wilson throws a TD's PASS THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE!!!!!!

?t=114

. IMO it should've been called back and further looked into. That was b******t!!!

I had a STRONG REACT to that play too! This is not 'Nam! There are rules!

Great reference!
I just checked the all 22. He wasn't over the line. The center placed the ball half a yard behind the line of scrimmage.

IMO where the C places the ball and snaps it from should be the actual LOS.

it was a legal pass, move on

Now that I see the first part of the so-called PI that wasn't called on Fred warner covering Hollister (the NBC broadcast never showed cuz they're slobbering on Seattle's balls) there was absolutely "nothing to see here." Hollister pushed off trying to create space and all Warner did was try to reestablish his defensive position. It was at the very least a simple no-call and at most OPI. Each and every seacawk fan can totally f**k off along with all the poser NFL TV analysts.
I thought the same thing, ninerjok... For f**king once, Seattle didn't get a cheap call go their way at home....but the media says they were robbed. Well, the media can go f itself. Justice. Feels great, baby!!!

Why didn't anybody knock Wilson out? What a treat that would have been...Hell he could've woke up in the New Year!

Because their Oline held like crazy.

Exactly....it was obvious even watching on TV from just one angle. Funny how the announcers didn't say s**t about that but when that phantom PI was not called in Seattle's favor, everyone loses it. Total BS....that team has gotten so many breaks from the officials over the years in that stadium, it is downright criminal...the NFC Championship game against the Niners was a good example. Screw Pete Carroll and screw that team. Bunch of dirty players too.

Just un f**king believable. WHY do these refs let them get away with this s**t all the f**king time? It's all a sham. Just for ratings and to keep the game "competitive". No doubt in my mind. Corruption in the New York office

You...are correct, sir!!

Here is a case in point.

I thought so at the time too but his back foot never crossed by the time he let go of the ball so it was legit

I disagree.

So do I....respectfully. To me, it looks like Wilson was clearly a yard across the LOS when he released that ball. Don't look at the artificial line....look at the actual LOS where the ball was actually snapped.

The TV line is irrelevant, if you go back and watch you'll see the ball is snapped from a point about a yard further back - the TV line is inaccurate, if you go to 1:45 on the video (highlights) you'll see it.

Thank you Buchy....my point exactly.

What did Steve Young do to mayo lol.

He muscled his way to the starting job over Joe. It's personal.
Sounded like a lot of Niner fans at the Clink when the ref said Hollister was stopped short of the goal line. Sweet.

You really still have a grudge about this? Bill Walsh brought him in.
