Yes Seattle should have been called for offensive PI.

Yes Seattle should have been called for offensive PI.

If a flag was to be thrown it should have been OPI, but I'm glad they didn't call anything.

So fun to see the Seahawks fans still whining about a call not going their way when countless other times they've gotten lucky breaks from the officials.

A few of those completions could have gone somewhere else. Looking at the game again you see there are times kittle in quadruple coverage. Checkdowns are wide wide open. We should take the easy yards more often. It will open up the big strike to kittle in space later in the game, where just a pipsqueak safety will have to bring him down.

. IMO it should've been called back and further looked into. That was b******t!!!

I had a STRONG REACT to that play too! This is not 'Nam! There are rules!

Playing for a flag is an every down play in todays NFL.

Players should be penalized for begging for flags. Players play and refs call the game.

I thought so at the time too but his back foot never crossed by the time he let go of the ball so it was legit

This rule needs to be tweaked. If the BALL is past the LOS, then it should be a penalty.
Can't believe all the idiots in the media keep pretending that PI should've been called and acting like the refs won the game for the 49ers when the highlights show our guys being clearly held with no calls.

I hope we run through everyone on our way to Lombardi #6 and shut them all up.

Great reference!
I just checked the all 22. He wasn't over the line. The center placed the ball half a yard behind the line of scrimmage.

I would like to see a rule change where if holding happens away from the ball and has no effect on the play there is no flag. No harm no foul. Calling a player for holding or blocking after the whistle is nonsense when it has nothing to do with the actual play, especially when it's on the other side of the field.

Two things i took from this vid besides obviously all the great sideline clips....

1. Kwon looked like his arms and chest were pretty decent swinging them around at full speed and range in the pre-game warm up.

2. Dante Pettis has to have ZERO worries or cares in the world about playing football.

3. DeFo ripping up that toots fansign at the beginning

That was awesome

I forgot Dante's first name over the past few days. I kept thinking "Anthony Pettis" from the UFC.

He'll always be over the line to me!
I remember the rule at one point being if any part of the qb was over the line it was an illegal forward pass. True or false?

Well that is percentage play. Take the easy yards as often as you can. Less risk and doesn't wear players out as quickly. I saw someone complaining in another thread about Jimmy not being good on the long passes (he is fine). The problem with throwing long balls is that it is extremely risky for completions or picks. Take the easy yards and convert third downs is still going to get you to the other end of the field. The long throws are good for entertainment but if that is your go to position your team is desperate and not smart.
