Deebo made more of an impact with his feet than his hands last season. Taylor an hurd are on ambulance watch. That leaves who exactly? Pettis? James? Kendrick b is our go to guy. Wanna know why we run 200 yards a game? Look no further.

800 receiving yds as a rookie in a run first offense and complex as this one isn't anything to ignore.

Jerry Rice -GOAT rookie year
16 4 49 927 18.9 66 3/ 6 26 4.3 15 1
Deebo Samuel rookie year
15 11 57 802 14.1 42T 3/ 14 159 11.4 31 3

Haha-You really need to chill Bro-you would out Walsh and said his first round pick was a failure/bust, especially since he fumbled to much.

Study your football-most rookies if they are good have these numbers.

As for the rest of the team, there are a lot of questions, mostly due to health, but if healthy, I like our staff. We run 200+ yards a game because they are good at it. Period. Otherwise play action don't work. When we got shut down during the regular season and when they had to even when they couldn't get the run game going, they passed, shootouts-they passed, but I guess you didn't see all the games and only looked at the scorecard?

James ain't making the team, Pettis hoping a sophomore jinx type of year and he breaks out of it. Aiyuk will be like Deebo, but more explosive. Trent and Hurd-again if they get over the injury bug-then they will be better than solid.
Dupe

Ok. You are comparing deebo to jerry. Now who is inadvertantly causing laughter.

First you are comparing stats 35 years apart. Teams played actual bump and run defense back then. So please stop.

I like deebs. And he had a really productive year. But its obvious jerry is infinitely more natural and gifted as a downfield reciever. So please stop with stats.

Deebs will help us out IF he stops stepping in potholes. Hes growing into a lead role. But i dont see him making a living 20 30 yards downfield. Thats why we got aiyuk. A juco guy who had one marquee year in the pac 12. Some things could work out with our guys but it will be a process.

We need reinforcements.
So deebo sucks now?
No one said that. Whocsaid that? It would be as silly as implying he is like jerry.
This is comical

Lol exactly . In Brodie's defense he admittedly did not watch games last year, but would then would start threads railing on how someone played the next day

You'll move the chains with Deebo, Aiyuk, Taylor and Bourne.
Then we get to the redzone, an area where we royally struggle. Our offense was the second higuest scoring and 4th in yards, but only converted 51% trips to the redzone to TD. Imagine changing that? Add the big boys, at this area YAC doesn't mean much. You put Hurd, Bourne, Jennings and Kittle. Physical and big bodies, somebody will be somehow open and jump for that TD.
Deebo, Aiyuk, Taylor, Bourne, Hurd and Jennings. Those are six receivers. We need a 7th specially to fill for Deebo. Dante Pettis could have a chance to redeem himself, Richie James if he heals quickly, or Benjamin for a veteran presence. I'd add a surprise addition of Josh Gordon for a vets minimum as a possibility.

And I know some clueless clowns will say: "Those receivers don't scare anybody". That's fine, let teams not be scared of them and stack the box to focus on the run. That's what Kyle wants. When healthy, and if each of these guys do their job, they can torch every defense. Don't need superstars at the WR position. They are a luxury, not a need.
