he said Heads lol

Let's move on already.

I heard it also but that's probably some wierd audio/broadcast issue. You really think sherm standing there would let that slide? He would have raised hell if that was the case.

Boy that sounds like tails. I remember people in here as soon as it happened pointing it out

Even if we won the toss, this offense wouldn't have done jack. Its a non story

Only you have no clue what would have happened, their one Deebo slant away from getting at the very least getting a FG. That a silly thing to say that getting the ball first wouldn't have mattered

But that's my whole point NY.. our offense has never been 100% healthy - ever. We haven't played on game this season with a full compliment of skill players on offense as projected during the offseason. We're always missing someone. What I'm getting at is that this offense isn't talented (or durable) enough to survive/ make it through a whole season. The problem is this has been the case for the last 6 seasons. At this stage, I just accept it as a part of the team like red unis. Seattle were missing players on O too - all teams do. It's just that our injuries tend to remove a critical player.

Yes, this team for yrs and yrs has had problems with injures, but you can say we don't have a better overall O with the guys on our roster. Two of our top guys happened to be out this game. Looks like Seattle might have lost Lockett for a considerable amount of time. It happens. I'm not concluding their better on O because we have to assume all our guys will be injured very week.

The fact that we were a missed FG in overtime (with a backup kicker) from winning this game with our top TE being a UDFA, our top WR was a 2nd rd rookie, and we lost our best Rb says something.

Hopefully the guys who should be getting those meaningful snaps on offense aren't going to be out for a considerable amount of time.
Injuries. The only thing that can beat this team. With all of the WTF from last night, they had a chance to win the game. Defense played lights out. for 5 quarters. Not mad at any of them, except maybe the receivers. Pettis and Goodwin officially in my dog house Deebo understandably inconsistent because he's a rookie. He made some plays along with some drops. Bourne the same, he's always been the give you 2 excellent plays and then comes back to give you 2 incredulous drops.

Goodwin and Pettis did absolutely nothing. That sideline catch attempt by Pettis I understand, he gave up his body to try to keep his feet inbound, and landed on his face. But then came back for another easy drop. Jimmy did all he could to stay with these receivers, but had no help.
😭😭😭😭😭😭
Our WR are the problem. These dudes can't catch a cold
Bright side is Seahawks also have a tough schedule and it looks like they're gonna be without Lockett. Niners should have the division wrapped up by the next time we play these guys

Unless it's doctored, it sounds like tails.
Why did they use Raheem Mostert ?? It made no sense , if Coleman is in that game
They get a touchdown easily smh
Heads or tails we lost and nothing can change that.
The heads/tails issue sounds like the Yanny/Laurel meme

they just beat 8-0.. they can play with anyone. if we do not have sanders its tough if we can not run the ball its double tough. fans should not be so arrogant to think. oh we are fine. we will walk to the divisional title
The 49ers got jobbed on the 3rd down run in overtime, but overall I think we got a lot of fortunate calls to go our way.

Jimmy had an interception called back on the 3rd play of the game on defensive holding.
Later in that drive there was a very ticky-tacky DPI to extend the drive.
We were gifted a free sack in overtime when Wilson escaped an Armstead sack.
Really questionable unnecessary roughness call on our punt returner late in the game.
Really questionable unnecessary roughness call on a Garoppolo sack.
Two near-interceptions on the final drive of the 4th -- Jimmy got very luck. He looked totally overwhelmed.

Seattle was called for 148 yards in penalties. We only had 66.

Honestly, it was so lopsided, that if the uniforms were switched, someone on this message board would probably go to YouTube and compile all of the stuff into a video, a la the infamous 2013 NFCCG.

We did have some bad breaks. Jimmy fumbled twice on sacks. The dropped pass interception was a backbreaker. However, we also had a pretty fluke fumble TD by Buckner, and the Metcalf fumble at the 2-yard line was a HUGE fluke. Also, Wilson never throws interceptions, and yet he gifted us one in the Red Zone in overtime.

Just really frustrating overall. As bad as our drops were, we had a LOT of things go our way. With the exception of the spot late in overtime (which we did get screwed on), I felt like we had a significant number of breaks go our way.

Then the Mostert spot.

But we did get away with a lot of PI and Wilson abuse calls.

This. If we played for the tie then lost to Arz or GB people would be losing their minds once when they realized we now have to win in Seattle to win the division.

Shanny is a coward, gutless. Hell I think some on our team may find that one decision to be that way too.

No he's not. he made a decision (IMO) that wasn't well founded and which i believe if he had a redo would have done differently . But Don't Say he is gutless. That is one thing he DEFINITELY ISN"T. He takes chances dozens of times per game, but virtually all have worked out well. This one didn't.

Coaches are made by the sum total of their knowledge of the game, and of course, by their decisions. They learn which are good ones and most good coaches learn even more from their bad ones. This was just a bad decision , IMO, which Kyle will learn from. Frankly i think he made the decision too quickly and then regretted it (even before the kick was pull hooked.)

But please don't call our HC gutless. That is the one thing he could never be accused of. We let a W slide by that we should have won, despite no ball catchers, except for Sanders and he went out around halftime. The rest of our ball catchers dropped 9 (NINE) passes. That just shouldn't happen in a NFL game. Jimmy was not razor sharp but most of those passes should have been caught. Also the starting OTs, really should not have played yesterday, but should have practiced another week. I know they gutted it out to play, but the SEA DL was more than they were ready for after 6 weeks of being sidelined.

If you want to vent on something, try WRs. Good Lord they were pitiful.
