Mo Hurst finally was a full participant at practice, huge understatement how healthy this team is getting at the perfect time

Yeah. Weird. Usually we are limping into the playoffs - HealthWise. I'm really wondering if that was luck or by design. They have liberally used the covid IR rules and they have really tried to rest a lot of their work horses. Mitchell being one of them - even though rookie - he gets a vet day. Nice. I like that.

Well, ShanaLynch drafted 8 players in 2021 despite using up 3 number ones for Trey. Kyle used pretty much every one of their draft picks in a regular season game. I think this may have been Bill Walsh's secret. I was always was a bit peeved that the 49ers always started slow during their Dynasty days. I don't mean so much their won loss record, but their offensive and defensive performance. I always chalked it up to just getting in synch from pre-season, but maybe there was more to it. I think - just a theory - that he tried to use the rookies and young players more during the year to save wear and tear on the veterans. Sort of like how ShanaLynch was forced to put the vets on IR while the rookies and 2nd years had to play due to the vets injuries. Now the Vets are coming back - and the rookies and younger players got a lot of valuable experience and development.

I saw someone in the game thread talking s**t about DJ Jones. One of the poorest of the poor takes I saw in there. Jones has been one of my favorites this year
