OL got one, lets show the other big uglies some love. A couple good performances from some of our back ups. I think Day is a solid DT rotation player, then with Sully, AA, Taylor, DJ, i think the interior looks good playing alongside Buckner. The DEs looks like the biggest issue, the backs up at least. They looked terrible against Cowboys 1st team OL. Hopefully we dont stay in house and pick up a rotational pass rusher who can do some damage. Valoaga looked pretty good against back ups, but any decent pass rusher can dominate 3rd string OL.

It's dumb to call a journeyman better than a first rounder who got hurt. But it wouldn't be your first dumb take.

Very much so, Mykel has only played half a season and is a DT/DE Ogbo has played OLB most of his career even outside of the experience gap it's a bit of an odd comparison. You can say Thompson and Eason have looked better but it's 2 preseason games. We've seen countless players look good in preseason then look terrible in real games

Remember when Trey Lance threw a deep TD pass to Danny Gray down the sideline in a preseason game and everyone was as happy as a clam ?
Pepperidge farm remembers. Danny Gray proceeded to have one reception for his entire NFL career and Trey, well we know how that story went.

One could make the case Thompson is better than Collins right now. Dude wasn't very good last year either with the exception of what 2 games? Collins just looks very meh out there.

I think it's the way you worded it "tough decisions" and then naming our top two picks from last years class. We haven't seen enough from Mykel to make that judgement. He was solid in the run game from inside which we need since Collins doesn't seem to be there yet. I'm not really a Collins fan myself but we knew he was a project with big potential.
