bahahaha...yup getting rolled up by a massive human being when you're locked up on someone trying to set the edge is being soft

Go tell that to Shon Coleman who had his foot snapped in half when the same thing happened to him the other day. Same s**t happened to Myles Garrett last yr and he was out for a month.

Don't be that kind of "fan" be better dude.

I don't understand why players don't wear more protective gear during TC and practice. Everyone should be wearing knee and ankle braces imo.

I kinda wondered about this too. I know that you cant have all that crap on for games and play at full speed, but for practice I would be all about the PPE if I was running a franchise.

It's scary when the horse can't get out of the stable.

It's more scary when we haven't had a race yet and people here are all ready calling to shoot the horse.

Bosa has zero collagen in his whole body.

Thankfully a large person falling on you almost never happens in football so we have nothing to worry about going forward, just a freak accident

Once again look what happened to Shon Coleman when the same exact thing happened to him - out for the year.

The fact that Bosa is walking or limping away with only an ankle strain versus being on the IR for the whole season can actually be seen as a positive and that he's not injury prone but just wrong place, wrong time.

I don't believe anyone here has actually claimed this. What has been said is that there is nothing at all to indicate that Nick Bosa is injury prone. Ward? He is injury prone. He keeps getting injured. That is the difference.
It's a blanket statement, that doesn't imply much context and that's my problem with it.

I mean I guess we could say Shon Coleman is injury prone? Same injury happened to him ONLY his ankle got broken in half. I guess Myles Garrett is injury prone as well? Dealt with ankle issues his last yr in college AND had the same injury happen to him back in Sept of his rookie yr.

Would we say Thomas Davis is "injury prone" been in the league since 2005, 3x pro-bowler/all-pro, is STILL playing (at a high level) BUT had 3 torn ACLs. How about OBJ? He's played in one full 16 game season in 5 yrs.

Getting your ankle rolled up by someone isn't the result of being "injury prone" that's the s**t that DL/OL deal with in the trenches... common sense should apply NOT narrative pushing. Having a tight hammy in May OTAs isn't some freak accident, NFL vets and especially rookies deal with it because they're not in football shape. It's a common thing that early into the football off season.

Thank god we didn't draft Andrew Luck who was always injured in college...oh wait he wasn't. Now people have labeled him "injury prone."

Man really dodged a bullet with the "injury prone" RB from Maimi back in 2005

I'd have a MUCH bigger issue if it was the same occurring injury.

Quoting so people read it again.
Football is a violent game. Maybe no one is injury prone but some players are just unlucky.

How can we fairly call Ward injury prone?

He definitely has brittle bones. Is that injury prone?

Yeah i agree, not sure how much a ankle brace would help in that situation...they are all taped up pretty good

Brittle bones? maybe save those 'hot takes' for a guy like Ward who has actually broken bones.

This will screw up their mobility and they won't perform to par. Then we'll complain how much they suck because they don't look as good in camp as we expected.

GUYS,

in sports, when you're often injured you ARE injure prone!! it stays with you especially IF you're often sidelined because of whatever injury.. we don't hear this TAG to other players because some plays thru injury.. but even if you just happened to be standing on the sideline after a year off due to a KNEE INJURY, and someone falls on you and you get hurt and be out for the weeks, months, season, you will be under the label of INJURY PRONE..

NO WAY AROUND IT..

I think that's exactly what he did
