Absolutely. He has the talent to be the #1 on this or any team. Only injuries could hold him back, but it's not fair to label him injury prone so soon. I expect him to break out this year just like Kittle did in his second year after a similarly injury plagued rookie season.

You're making this determination after one season?

Hopefully he breaks out his second year like Kittle.

Kittle also struggled to stay healthy his rookie year and we all know what happened in year 2.

He can, especially if all the pieces are in place for Shannie's multiphasic , highflying attack.

Easily and all that talk about him not being strong enough.....see BOTH his ridiculous straight arms against Seattle in both games. He may be a little injury prone last year but he will get bigger and stronger like most nfl players. His separation skills are imo top 10 already.
Also, he can sure eat a pizza with his cat while watching ufc 😛

He is a high end #2 if he can stay healthy. He is somewhat fast, runs good routes, catches the ball and makes plays. He's too skinny to be a #1. He isn't strong enough.

The answer to the thread title "talent and potential" is clearly yes, anyone who thinks otherwise just hasn't been paying attention.
If the poll was "Will Dante Pettis become a #1 WR?" it would be much closer.
Marvin Harrison and Isaac Bruce were slight as anything and were both #1's, people talk as though TY Hilton is a #1, so why not Dante?

Hes one of the best at getting open, has some elite footwork and wiggle. If he puts in the work, I think he has #1 potential.

Some of our fans have a real obsession with big body receivers. These same fans were upset we didn't trade for OBJ or AB, yet in the same breath say Pettis can't become a #1 WR because of his size... What?
