3yrs (4 in total with last yr of the rookie contract) $62M and $42M FTGD.

That's more than Godwin/DJ Moore and 3rd only behind Hill/Nuk in FGTD cash (which is what matters). He get's a shot to cash in again in a couple yrs (or another extension like Diggs got) get's a ton of GTD cash and SF get's 4 total yrs to spread out that cash.

If his agent and him want everyone to think he's the highest paid WR in football APY...just toss in a void 4 year (with a stupid high cap hit) like Hill got, it's for show and nothing more.
I'm not advocating Deebo be traded but the WR market has blown up yet the last few years has shown how deep the drafts are at Wideout. To get quality wide receivers, the last 4+ years have had great wide receivers come out from the first two days of the draft.

Because of this, it is surprising that Jax didn't use the draft and paid Christian Kirk what they did.
Lance needs all the help he can get, and you'd be doing a disservice to him by getting rid of Deebo. That being said, if he holds out, just trade him. Don't need the drama. I'm sure Aiyuk will be thrilled getting the bulk of the targets, lol

Also keep in mind for everyone that says "draft a receiver". It takes like 8-12 weeks for a receiver to learn this complicated ass system from Kyle. So drafting a guy isn't going to help much this year. Kyle will probably start some washed up vet like Travis benjamin or w/e

Jags are a terrible team with a bad rep, they have to overpay to get guys to sign etc.

CBA doesn't really help players when it comes to holding out. Really the only thing that can do is take down their pics on social media

it's April and a lot of SF's extensions (for guys still on the roster) tend to happen closer to camp.

He puts his body and future on the line every single time he steps on that field. He might be in pain for the rest of his life from one hit. He might lose his sanity, rationality, memory, brain function in general. He might die before he should because of this game we enjoy. He should stand his ground and get paid what he thinks he's worth. I pray to the football gods that our organization understands what he's worth and they pay every penny.

Everyone understands what you're saying. The problem with this is that there only so much cap space. I'm down with them paying him 50m a year but that's not possible due to the aforementioned.

I don't think everyone does. A lot of people in here are questioning his character because he won't bend over in contract negotiations. What he did last year is not something we can find a dime a dozen. A lot of people say they are scared to pay him because of injury. How about he doesn't want to play because he might get injured and then offered pennies on the dollar because he f**ked his body up doing what Kyle asks him to. Even if he does get injured under contract it doesn't mean it's career ending. Even an acl isn't as big of a deal as it used to be. Pay the man 23 mil per year and guarantee 3 years and let him go make Trey look good.

Give that man his money. $100m over 4 years with 60 guaranteed. A little less than diggs but a massive deal.

If it was up to Deebo and his agent, he would get Adams / Hill money.

But for 1 year of great production I hope it doesn't happen.

You don't have to in order to splash.

I agree one massive year shouldn't be over-rewarded.

But it should be rewarded.

Groin could be an issue. We cant do another d ford.

Only if his groin is attached to his knees.
I want Deebo to remain a 49er but I would let him play next year and see how he and Trey do together. If they work well together pay him or tag him and if not tag and try to trade him.

Awful strategy. Tagging him would be dumb.

Just calm down, he'll eventually sign.

AND it also assumes it's deebos fault that he and trey have no chemistry. People on here already annointing trey and s**tting on deebo.
