I think a lot of fans are not thinking through how valuable Deebo Samuel is. Just because he may have lost a step or two or is not as effective is not the issue.

He is an unbelievable security blanket for check downs, sweeps, and if anything happens to McCaffrey….he replaces that valuable check down option, not to mention he is still easily top 10 in YAC and top 3 in breaking tackles. He can return kickoffs and possibly even punts. Not to mention the attitude he brings, if he has one big play or one broken tackle the whole team gets jacked up on offense and defense. That is invaluable and I think fans need to realize that.

This is going to be even more of a common occurrence this year. They refuse to get anyone in the secondary that can actually cover.
