The whole trading the figure for a qb on rookie contract doesn't work if you can't get rid of the other.

Also, as I've been saying, these players know that Trey is going to struggle. Deebo WILL NOT PLAY WITHOUT AN EXTENSION because he knows the offense is going to be awful when teams figure out that Trey cannot play from the pocket. The only way Deebo will get the consistently is handoffs and the defense will sit on that.
Deebo is going to have to be way overpaid to stay.

Btw it's hilarious to see NYNiner in here acting like he knows exactly what's going to happen. Same way he was in the JG trade value thread, same he said Lance would start early, Mac Jones couldn't play, etc. Have some humility till you get something right

It's hilarious to see you turn it into a Trey Lance issue. I know you love them but get off my nuts. Seriously it's weird.

I didn't say Lance would start early. I said depending how Jimmy plays I could see him taking over after the bye week. I said the best way to develop him was to play him, which is a totally different topic. I never said Mac couldn't play. I said his ceiling is lower compared to the other draft prospects. I didn't want to replace Jimmy with the same thing… Bravo he beat out a one armed Cam Newton and played avg football.

When you gonna realize no one in here thinks your special and you're not better than anyone else? No one thinks your football smart and you come off as arrogant…you haven't earned the right or the benefit of the doubt.

You talk down to everyone, somewhat personally. I only do that to people who have done that to me. Obviously, I'm no oracle, but I do know the game pretty well and most who see my posts, if they are being honest with themselves, can say, yeah he's an a hole and negative, but he's been pretty spot on regarding last years draft and about some of those predictions.

And yes, Max played above average qb, making the playoffs and pro bowl. Which is quite remarkable for a one year starter in college. Even if it was pretty much tied with the best season of all time with burrows junior year.

I would have a tough time saying let's pay $30m annually if the plan is to run him thru all 11 defenders up the gut. We legit were deploying as an RB for the 2nd half. Not sustainable he had to be scraped up off the turf all postseason long. It's a pickle we are in. JL will figure it out.

Sorry bro I had typos. Certain guys epitomize the way you want to play ball. Offensively Deebo was unselfishly THAT guy much like Frank Gore was during his time with us. You have to pay certain guys if you want other players to buy into what you do like Deebo did
Deebo wants to be the highest paid non-QB player like Tyreek Hil. Meet in the middle and pay him.

You don't know s**t lol

I talk to people in here personally because I've been here for almost a decade and so have a lot of these other posters (some much longer). I've talked about s**t outside of sports with a lot of these guys/girls. I have equity in here. I know I'm not always right. I do my research and put too much time into things like the draft. No one is right all the time and I value a lot of guys opinions in here over the years…I've learned a lot and I've seen a lot of people come in and think they know it all too.

You've been here for what a little over a year and come off as arrogant as hell for no reason…the only thing I know about you and the draft is your love for Mac Jones and distain for Lance. You and I both know you don't judge a draft after a yr, especially at QB. I have no idea what your other takes were because you were so busy with that other nonsense.

Listen I'll extend an oil branch and let s**t be between you and I slide…we're suppose to be fellow 49er fans and I'm tired of arguing about the same s**t in here.

I think paying him a little more than Godwin/Moore makes sense for everyone. 3 yr deal $62M with a little over $40M GTD. We get 4 yrs of Deebo he still gets to cash in again.

He wants 28 a year I'm hearing. He wants devante money.
Lynch has botched this offseason as bad as you possibly can. Refusing to let go of Jimmy, Waiting on signing Deebo and now he wants to be the highest paid non QB due to what other WR's are getting. Being very quiet in free agency. And what is not being talked about is that if Deebo gets $30 Million, Bosa is going to want $35 Million. Bosa an elite edge rusher is not taking the same type of money a WR on his team is making. And all this is because of his refusal to cut ties with Jimmy. But he just signed Marcus Johnson, Yay.

What have you really said aside from "hey,...all of the Alabama players are top notch and great choices. And oh yea I'm an Alabama fan."....?

I may have missed it but you can share.

Wow that is so high! $28m...
Maybe the Niners are doing their due diligence and exploring trade options with the Jets. And that pissed off Deebo!

$28m a year doesn't mean anything. Not sure how many times NY has mentioned it, but it's all about the guaranteed money.

I said from the moment they were drafted that Banks and Ssemon were not great prospects. Said it was an awful draft and the only picks I liked were Mitchell, Hufanga(special teams and instincts), and Moore. I said Mitchell was better than seemon and was chastised.
Harped on how awful it was that we didn't fill any of the few holes we had while the roster was primed for a super bowl run.
Told everybody just how far Lance had to go to become serviceable….while people in here were saying he's ready because he ran a pro style offense lol.
LMAO @ thinking this is a Trey issue.

Nothing to see here except he's due for an extension and there have been plenty of other WRs that have been paid this off season. Cut the scrub we have at backup QB. Quit playing games and protecting your fragile egos and pay this man Kyle and John.
