Vernon scored 13 td's in two separate seasons.

As of today the most TD's Kittle has scored in a single season is 4.
Vernon has surpassed that mark 7 times.

Like I said, this thread is premature.

TDs are a function of opportunity more than anything else.

If he continues to beast the next few years, it might not even be close...

Two things for sure...he doesn't have to jump up to catch a ball and he hasn't taken a shower at half time yet.
Vernon has never had a 1,000 yard season.

Kittle as he is your prototypical TE.

/thread. like his career after that.

Kittle is the hybrid result of mixing Brent Jones with Vernon Davis.

He's already better than VD ever was, and hes still figuring out the NFL.

It's not just 1000 yards....

It's how he got a 1000 yards.

Take Vernon's best year or years ever and I'd still take Kittle Corn any time of the day...

If you hate the way he jump up for the pass for no f**king reason, you appreciate the Chancellor hit

One season does not make a career...that said Kittle has the potential to supplant him in lore over the next few years.

Irony is he's still playing and Chancellor's career ended sooner.
One stat that stands out to me the most, and why Kittle is going to be a future all-pro player in this league

Of his 1100+ yards, 747 of them have come after catching the football. Just as a reference point the next closest TE is Kelce, who is at 523 (despite having more overall receiving yards and receptions).

As of last week, Kittle is averaging 6.79 yards after catch.
Vernon Davis was supposed to be the athletic YAC monster when he was drafted, I would argue that Kittle is better at that than Davis at this point in his career.
