I envisioned McKinnon being used like how Cook was used.

Just off the top of my head, I don't recall seeing as many Yankee concept/Pin concepts as I'm use too with Kyle. (I'll let the film correct me if my recollection was wrong. Usually I'm pretty good as seeing them in game).

You gotta think that the loss of McKinnon really killed the short passing game. I don't think Kyle has faith in either Morris or Breida catching the ball out of the backfield. Play calling really suffered in the red zone with the runs up the middle and Jimmy missing wide open Kittle

can he not catch or something? Breida seems like your prototypical pass catching back. quick, speed, can make guys miss....

Yeah it really sucks. I think we can recreate the rushing from McKinnon but the catching is gonna be pretty tough. I hope Breida can do it but it remains to be seen. It's a work In progress.....

He's not a good receiver...his catch rate percentage was not good last year and his drop percentage would have led the league if he would have qualified.

the positives:
-Richard Sherman was pretty much a lockdown corner. Only gave up 1 catch that i saw
-Buckner looks to be in a early lead with sacks in the league
-Other than that stupid offsides, Solomon got alot of pressure.
-Warner was a beast. Him and Foster are going to be deadly together
-Tartt is a run stopping freak. No joke. check the tape. He was constantly there to meet the RB at the LOS. Also made some good pass breakups in coverage. We got our Chancellor
-Kittle is a beast. Missed that one ball but he is a good safety net.
-Pettis looks to emerge throughout the year as a receiving threat.

Negatives:
-O-line. i get it though, this was the best d-line in the league. I hope our line improves with lesser talent against them
-Turnovers. This was the reason we lost the game. Had we not fumbled at the end zone or thrown a pick six, we win the game.
-Injuries. Wowza! good to see no one had a season ending inury
-Garappolo somewhat. He was getting hit, against the best defense in the league, 1 interception wasnt his fault, playing from behind, no run game, receivers dropping the balls, morris fumbled at the end zone. Hard to put the blame on him.
-Garcon. a complete non factor today. Pettis is going to take his job.
-Running game. severly disappointing. Although Breida was turning it on at the end of the game. Should of got him more involved. I saw if steelers give us a good offer, trade for bell.
What I take away from the game is, we weren't dominated. We could of won this game if self induced mistakes weren't made. I can see the light fellas

This! This game should have been a blow out but the defense held them back to 24 points

Kittle with that catch would have had 150+ yards....but he looks like a match up problem and that's a good thing.
I fully expect to be 3-1 going into week 5
They almost held there own against a very good team. It's been so so long since I had any optimism in the Niners. But the truth of the matter is a loss like this can be corrected. After the team has a chance to gell a little more I think they'll be alright. I'm tired of being bummed. I really want to believe that. So I'm going to. Lol.

wtf was he working on in the offseason then. he should've known that this offense relies on pass catching backs.
