Yeah, come on Garnett.

They are rotating up a lot of the guys at the back end to get fair looks this week, playing with the 1's (per KS).

Jimmy better pick up his game.

Dude's been very underwhelming this camp. For that kinda money he needs to be elite.

The two-minute drill didn't go well for the first-team offense. Kareem Jackson intercepted Garoppolo on the first play of the drive. The starters got one more crack at Houston's first-team defense but went four-and-out.

I agree. If you give a player $137,500,000, you're expecting a certain level of performance and I don't think we've really seen him meet those expectations yet. It's still early, but it's a little concerning. Hopefully he looks better in the Houston game than he did against Dallas.

Close, but too sloppy. I stuck my face right in their chests and grabbed up underneath their pads and fell straight back, LOL

I know....how dare a QB throw INT's in practice. In the first 4 practices of the Packers' training camp A. Rodgers had thrown 7 INT's - BUM!!!! They should trade him for Tyrod Taylor.

Should've moved the team to LA. probably would've happened, had Harbaugh not saved the franchise.

Yep, I think without Harbaugh, no stadium. I think his initials are on the first crossbar beam in Levi Stadium. Jed was so ungrateful to Harbaugh.

The problem with this "Harbaugh got the stadium built" narrative is that it lacks the fact that the stadium vote was approved in June 2010 before Harbaugh was hired.

"Approved" vs financed are two totally different things. Land approval is trivial and even a non-issue in virtually every NFL city as either that city or an immediate nearby city will bend over backwards to make any serviceable land available (unless you're the mayor of SF which they didn't get approval regardless). At any point in the last 20 years the South Bay would've been giddy to approve the 49ers moving there. They have been desperate for a pro team that isn't NHL for 20 years.

It's the financing to build the stadium that makes it happen and where ultimately approved plans don't get built. It's why the Raiders are leaving Oakland. Before Harbaugh they didn't have the financial backing, sponsorships or high $ pre-sold PSL's to fund a stadium like Levi's. So yes, Harbaugh did get the stadium built (he just didn't get it permit approved which happened earlier once the 49ers gave up all hope on SF ever cooperating).

The idea that Harbaugh prevented a move to LA is false hero worship. Would the financing have been a little more difficult to secure without the Harbaugh good vibes? Sure. However, the team and the league were pushing HARD to get the stadium built in SC after the approval vote in 2010, and it absolutely still would have happened.

I know everyone here wants the narrative to be that Harbaugh is their Lord and Savior while Jed York is Satan Bin Laden, but give credit where credit is due: Jed York circled the wagons to build in SC long before Harbaugh was hired.

I don't care if Jimmy G. trips over his own shoelaces every play in preseason. He didn't go 5-0 last season in practice.

I'm not concerned with what Aaron Rodgers is doing. He's not a 49er. He also has a long track record of prior success, so he can get away with things that an unproven QB can't. He's also not making $137,500,000, so it'd be unfair to hold him to that same standard.

How many losses has Jimmy G.'s bad play cost us this season?

It took that Matt Ryan guy 2 full offseasons to start to play to his potential in Kyle's system. And that guy had Julio freaking Jones to throw to. Also Matt Ryan makes more money than Jimmy does.

Funny that Jimmy is not meeting expectations or underwhelming some, considering they have seen one preseason series from the guy.
